Yes getting those OSBs forward would be a big help, but hard to do with so many turnovers by CCH teammates further up the field which results in the opponent bringing the ball right back at the back 4. And it goes to the SHARE the ball part, I've seen the OSBs get forward this year numerous time and their runs were wasted, teammates not getting them the ball.

I didn't see the Elder game but IMO CCH has struggled to generate good scoring opportunities in most of their games do to some players struggling to play under pressure/lack of confidence on the ball. Very poor player movement off the ball, aka killing grass. Not looking to possess and build up the attack by playing simple, playing the way you are facing, 1-2 combination play, sharing the ball, etc, etc. These deficiencies lead to poor tactical decisions such as bypassing the midfield and playing everything long and direct into their strikers. In HS where most teams are not that good at organizational defending, most rely on individual play, the better defensive teams simply have strong, fast athletes that can get to the ball and clear it up and out. The easiest HS team to defend is the one playing direct, long over the top to the striker. If CCH can start to play simple, keep possession, build up the attack, share the ball and get numbers forward allowing them to become creative this will cause major confusion for the opponents to defend. This will solve all of CCH scoring issues. CCH has a good number of scorers, but they aren't and won't be utilized playing every ball direct to one striker. Build up, get creative in the attacking third and SHARE the ball and the goals will come in bunches.

Did not think this game would be anywhere near this result. Was expecting around a 4 goals or more Ryle win.

I'm not a referee, so I'm not arguing if your explanation is a correct one or not, but if what you describe is what happened, the losing team scores a goal, is still behind or tied and they run into the goal, grab the ball and sprint to the center of the field with the ball to "hurry up" the restart is officially called "delay of game" by FIFA is laughable. I believe you called it "delaying the restart". Either terminology "delaying the restart" or "delay of game" in this instant, the team behind on the score board is ACTUALLY trying their best to do the opposite, they're trying to SPEED UP the restart. It may in fact be a cardable situation, but maybe FIFA should call it something besides "delay of game."

Surprised is putting it in mild terms. Hopefully NDA will bounce back on their trip to IN.

Must say I was correct on all 3 of my predictions, Calvary Christian makes top 10, Beechwood makes the page and Holy Cross drops off, 3 for 3! Obviously this came out before Ryle went 0-2-1 in their last 3 games and St Henry lost to NCC. NCC should probably be no less then #6, maybe even #5.

A very good St Ursula program is maybe a bit down this season, combined with an exceptional NDA team, NDA 3 - St Ursula 0. For a typical match up between these two programs, this is a very one side score.

HHS still unscored upon this season, CC giving up a lot of goals to good teams. HHS 3- CC 0

4-1 St Henry. Boone has a good coach, his influence will begin to take an effect sometime.

From what I know this week's rankings look to be pretty accurate. In just two weeks of playing real games things have really worked themselves out rather quick. Daviess Co a clear #1 at this point.

Since there is NO guarantee when a goal will be scored in OT, logically speaking the game could go on for an additional 30-60-90 mintues or much longer before a goal is eventually scored, please give your suggestion on how to end such game that has every potential to go on this long into OT? The people that run FIFA that are paid huge amounts of money and have years and years of experience and knowledge favor ending games by PKs after a predetermined OT period. Maybe just maybe because no one has yet come up with a better solution.

I feel NCC has a bit more technical quality over St Henry where it is needed to prevail in PKs.
