Wanted to read this thread and actually talk about the game. Should be high scoring considering the explosiveness of both offenses. Not sure Lafayette will be able to slow down SC's running attack with their big play ability over the top. SC 49 LHS 35.

Guys- Connor is a good team yes, but if you think they can hang with SC at SC then you are delusional. Too many numbers and too much power for connor. SC will run wild on offense. 56-28 final, SC.

Hit the nail on the head here. There has been a misconception since this thing broke out that SC was "scared" -and chose not to play the game. After close to 2 hours of waiting on the lightning the administration and HC decided to send the kids home. Lafayette made no offer of neutral site until the day after. SC is certainly very capable of beating Lafayette and was backing down from nobody in my eyes. We could see a potential rematch in the Semifinals in Lexington if both teams get there.

Pretty ironic. No doubt that Andre Davis playing or not playing will be a huge factor in how competitive the game will be, as he is one of the best dual threat QBs in the state. I've also been pretty impressed with the Josh Davis kid from Scott County this season. He is 33-56 for 630 yards and 7 TDs with only 1 INT as well as 21 carries for 132 yards and 3 TD on the ground. Pretty efficient for sophomore QB in a run heavy offense.

Been around SC program the entire McKee era and have never seen him once not shake hands with a team so this post is completely and entirely made up.

Can't say I agree with walking off the field and not finishing a game no matter how upset over another coaches "antics" you may be.

Henry Clay called timeout with one second to play and walked off the field refusing to shake hands. Classless act by Sam Simpson. Not surprised with the final. Lots of talent in Lexington but no defense or discipline. Look for SC to make another deep run into playoffs

County. Too good on offense and station has a less than stellar defense. Station talented but still seeing too many flashes of same old undisciplined station team. Scott County is too good all around to be beat by anyone in lex, Look for the cardinals to be matched up against the super district in the semi-finals in Georgetown.

I am a lexington guy but I think people are getting a little carried away with saying SC is overrated. They scored against Lafayette on every possession they had in the game except 1. Sure the loss off Grayson Miller hurt but Keith Guy and Theo Price are arguably the best 2 6a running backs in the state not including Nero, and they are both playin both ways now. I think Scott Co is right where they should be, Maybe ahead of T and not far behind Male.
