  1. Personally, I think Murray is as good if not better than last year.
  2. I would like to point out that Joe Morris at Mayfield has never coached anywhere else. Started as an assistant here, and been here ever since. Honestly I don't think he will ever leave. That would be pretty amazing to coach your whole career at the same place.
  3. Bright 2 yd TD run. 28-0 10:22 2nd qtr. Todd Co. 6 yds of offense so far.
  4. Bright with a 72 yd TD run. 21-0 MF 44 sec left in 1st
  5. I think we should let this go fellas. It was a great high school football game played by 2 great teams, that has no effect on the outcome of the season. If this was a district game that determined home field in the playoffs, this would be a huge deal. I think all Mayfield fans have lots of respect for the Caldwell program, and always will. Good or bad, refs are part of the game every week. I don't like the saying "it is what it is" but............." It is what it is folks". Changing the subject hopefully, has anyone heard heard of any injuries from the game? I haven't and I hope there is none.
  6. I will do my best to explain. Somebody correct me if I mis-remember something. Caldwell kicks out of bounds on first kick Second kick squibs all the way inside the 5 where it is then returned around the 15-20 yd line Pass over the middle for around 20 yds Screen pass is incomplete, but receiver was hit early so pass interference called (yes, it was a good call) 15 yd penalty enforced Pass over the middle is caught around the Caldwell 40 maybe and long run made after the catch all the way to the 8 yd line 2 sec on the clock, the ball is set and snapped and spiked immediately Field goal is kicked as time expires That's the best of my memory of how it went down. Hope that helps!
  7. It's been a while since I saw them play, but I thought I remembered them having some decent size guys on the d line. It could be that they had some guys going both ways, and are not doing that now. Just a couple I can think of is Daniel and Purdom. Those guys were beasts for an o line to handle.
  8. I haven't seen the stats yet for this game, but I bet your statement about dominating the game can be proved wrong. As mentioned earlier they're points basically came off 3 plays. 2 of them the offense wasn't even on the field. Even if you want to say "they had a TD called back" that's 4 plays. Caldwell offense did no dominating at all. I'm not saying Mayfield did at all, to me the game was very even. I completely agree about Dee Cain. He's just stands out among others.
  9. I'm no 3A expert by any means, but after watching Caldwell play, I definitely consider them a contender. I was glad to see Arnett come back and have a good 2nd half throwing the ball for MF. He is gonna be needed for the Cards to make a championship run. Congrats to both teams and to the Caldwell fans, you have a great team! I would love to meet up with all of you in BG!!!
  10. Lots of fight in both teams. Great game to watch!
  11. Kick is.......................GOOD! Mayfield wins 25-24!!!!!
  12. This is nuts! Pass all the way to C 8 yd line 2 sec left field goal by Herndon is on the way
  13. 4th and 10 from the 21. C appears to be trying a FG. TO called
  14. TD pass Arnett to Walker. 2 pt conv no good. 22-21 mayfield 2:50 left
  15. Holding Mayfield, false start Mayfield. 2nd and goal from 29
