Hey Pur ple I clearly said what's his record against Perry? I said that because they both have been head coaches at this point the same amount of time. How can we say give Smith time but not the same for Mark.

I am bluntly honest though man. The mismatches that exist are hard to ignore. The game film doesn't lie. As poor as the play was in two losses LC had over 300 yards in penalties. I'm not concerned at all against Boyle unless there's laundry on the field that Friday.

But the great Chuck Smith is what against Mark Perry? And you guys are the same people even when you lose point the finger at the offensive coordinator. Yes you did. Never taking ownership that you got your butt beat. You've tried to deflect that Smith is 0-2 and it will be 0-3 & maybe 0-4 come November. Accept it. As far as crow there isn't one poster on here that can say I'm not a man of my word when LC has a loss. I didn't blame coordinator, I just took the abuse, and asked for more when it was crow eating time.

I'll be honest Jack I'm sure the fine folks of Boyle County thought they looked average before the regular season game last year. That same LC team lost three in a row and still made the first game look easy. Penalties have hurt LC more than anything. Against Ryle, CovCath and JC. Can't be a great team shooting ourselves in the foot. It's been addressed and that is why we will beat Boyle County fairly easy

I don't think calling my shot is necessary. We will kick Boyles tail regular season or postseason like we have been doing for awhile now.....

Not only that everyone is on the record saying LexCath will lose to Boyle County in the regular season game which would have them in a lower seed. Anderson & Danville are not elite teams this season.

Mid season I'd say sure give it to Robbins. Maybe even Mr Football mid season yes. I think he's definitely a top 3 candidate for it. The biggest hurdle on how people view Boyle County and even Robbins is how they do when the host Lexington Catholic. If he shows up and wins while have a great overall night he will then be in the mix for every possible award there is. If they lose then it gets sketchy. I think it's fair to judge LexCath however you'd like, but we are on pace to be at full strength when that game takes place in Boyle County.

After watching Cooper's best games and some of their lesser games, I can say that I'm very concerned about this Friday. I can only hope that we play up to our ability

Stop it. This is the same Kirk regardless of the amount of practice reps. At practice everyday both Quarterbacks split reps daily with the ones. They even sprinkle in a little Thompson in at Wildcat for practice. When it comes to Guru just ignore him man. Like I said the Knights are just fine in 3A & Cov Cath will be fine in 5A. I love those defensive ends on Cov Cath team

I hope that the voters do more than just picking up the newspaper and logging on to recruiting sites. The voters need to attend and watch the game tape. Now I know that's asking a lot but the eye test has to be a factor. Overall team record is huge. So I would expect that to be a huge factor when deciding the district players of the year. You take the pool of the players that were named player of the year in their district and start breaking down those players. Look at who they played and played well against. Was it on the road? Fourth quarter comeback? Playing through an injury? And was there a Mr. Football moment in their season. I was by the end zone on the pass break up on the 2 point conversion by Robbins. I saw that last play by Kash to put his team over the top. There are a number of these type of plays and we are only in September. So if you are or you know a voter please don't allow them to be lazy. Demand more, these student athletes deserve better..... PS: We need to split up Mr Football for both sides of the football

My early picks based on a few games were based on winning, eye test, and overall value to the success of the team Baker Powell Robbins

Here's the point when Boyle was the better team they got the publicity they deserved before and after their victory. The point I'm trying to make is they get the credit even when they have been owned by Knights. I'm talking about those seniors and last year's seniors that he coached they have that record against the Knights. When LexCath goes into that game they'll have more losses and be the underdog by posters and then when they win there will be excuses and talks of payback.
