You probably didn't read my post to the thread with Trinity vs Lafayette. After it went final I posted Trinity would smash 95 percent of the teams in this state. So saying Lafayette didn't score on Trinity doesn't help in this thread. I said the defenses have suffered, hence the 70 points they allowed. I have no problem giving props to Trinity and Male this season. I even posted that they needed to do a best out 5 and spare the rest of the bracket

Just a quick comment on Fayette County not playing any defense, I think the final scores make people think this. The truth is Fayette County has had some big time game breakers on offense and that has lead to some huge plays. Another thing is I think a lot of talented players are staying on the offensive side of the ball and the defense is suffering.

Their offensive line is great.

Measurables and camp performance, that is why one of those QB's have offers and the other doesn't have one yet. Doesn't mean Hall want have one but it's about fitting the prototype that College coaches want your kid to have. Nice the comment was a little off base. I think if he had took a second to pause after he was asked a question, he would've worded that a little better.

It's kind of pick your poison on both sides. If Belfry plays up too close on JJ and Donovan they may run right by them vertically. If they drop in zone can they contain Jaylen and Andy? The same can be said about LexCath trying to stop Belfry. With the line man winning on the first level the LB's can't afford to guess on who has the ball. You have to stay home, play disciplined, and make those tackles when you have a chance. And you better hold on until help arrives because the ball carriers don't go down easy. If you sell out in the run game you have to account for the pass, pretty tough task. Keeping your emotions in check is key and no one has brought this up. I think both teams know the other team pretty well. Both teams have ran a lot of these same plays that other teams knew were coming and still couldn't be stopped. The defensive players can't get down on themselves if they give up a huge play or score. I really think that mental part will be huge come Sunday.

Does he play Slot, RB or in the secondary for Western?

Jones and Ogbagu have both been to UK for visits but I think they're done with the or 2016 recruiting. Both kids will play on Saturday just not at Kentucky

In all seriousness yes it is a bad matchup when you look at the size difference in trenches. We are going to lose if we don't keep the big plays to a minimum. With that being said I could make an argument that their back end of their defense will be at a disadvantage if Morris and Ogbagu play their A game. I can also make the argument that accounting for Jones and Thompson will be a big problem if they make it to the 2nd level. Key to the game for me is can we give our QB time to find our skill guys, and can Jaylen and Andy make it to the 2nd level in the run game? With Bently and Horton that's a tough tough task. Side note why isn't Mark Stoops beating the door down to lock those 2 up. That's a package deal

At school today I was told at lunch the student athletes were only allowed to eat spinach and protein shakes. With the extra days for this game I am hoping that the size disparates go away.
