  1. Couldn't agree more. If it were any team but Scott it probably wouldn't even be an issue.
  2. Treadway reviewed a yellow 11 minutes in the game for shooting the ball after the ref blew his whistle. ( claims he did not hear the whistle ) then 22 minutes into the game recieved a second yellow for his first foul of the game which was a 50/50 challenge with the keeper. It was not a harsh challenge, no one was complaining or injured and this was Treadways first foul. Still given a red card. For about 60 minutes the eagles were playing with only 10 men. 1st goal was scored by Treadway about 13 minutes in. Second goal came off a through ball from Morgan to Snchieder about 35 mins in the 1st half. Half time 2 to 0. Not sure exactly when the Ballard goal came but in the last 4 minutes of play Morgan and Schnieder were yet again able to link up for the match ending goal. Great weekend for Scott and NKY soccer.
  3. No details, just the score. 8 0 1 for Scott.
  4. If that is the best response you can come up with then we ought to just let this go. All the talk about the coach being a good role model for the players and not knowing enough about the game. If you can't come up with a logical argument back then we ought to just drop it.
  5. How can you blame the coach for some of the issues that have happened in the past two years at Scott. That's one of the most riduculous thing I've heard on this site. Last year 7 red cars were accumulated between 3 players, he didn't have any control over that he didn't teach them that, it was his first year with a new team. You don't take a dog that's already trained and try to retrain it. And for last night letting Treadway score 7 goals, what about 3 years ago when Casey Sibert let Luke score 7 goals in a game? He encouraged it, I don't remember anyone having any issues with it back then. As for the Boone county game that was ridiculous. Scott took much criticism for what BOONE did. What about them? They had 4 red cards? Are we to blame their coach? How about we all pick on the Boone county coach? Maybe we should just start bashing thier school, and their program. Maybe Scott's coach is taking a little bit more criticism because just he's different.
  6. As far as knowing the game he played soccer for a living, I bet he has more soccer knowledge than over 3/4th of the coaches in the state. He comes from a different country. He is still learning things. IMO as far as high school coaching goes anyone can coach a high school soccer team, there's no development in high school soccer. You either have good players or you don't. He is great role model for all the students at Scott. Without him we wouldn't have accomplished the things we did last year or the things that are yet to come.
  7. This is a tough score to predict. Agree I think we could potentiomally be looking at a draw. My only hope is that with the amount of talent on the field during this game we can expect to see some good, fair, and clean soccer. I am certainly l
  8. Wish I knew more about this game. Not to many details but leaving Treadway in the game to score 7 goals doesn't seem to smart on the coaches decision, however I was told 4 of the goals came very early in the first half, and it was his first game back off an undeserved red card, the coach had some factors to consider, hard to not let him play but not very smart IMO.
  9. Could not agree more with this. Will be a very interesting game.
  10. How do you compare Cooper with Scott. I have yet to see Cooper play in a game situation this year but I know with Snow, Ross, and O'brien, they have a strong offense. How would you compare this to Morgan, Schnieder, and Treadway, as well as the rest of the team, with Seay in goal ( arguably top goalie in NKY ) and the rest of the team. I would just like to hear someone's opinion on this.
  11. The game ended 3 to 0, Schnieder scoring an early goal to put the eagles up 1 to 0. Later in the first half Seay with an incredanle 70 yard punt gets the assist to the second goal also scored by Schnieder. The third goal came in the secon half by Morgan. It was nice to see the Scott team play and move the ball around and score goals with the absence of Treadway. Needless to say the competition wasn't super high but the game definitely showed that thier are other players on the team that can step up when needed.
  12. The ref let the game get out of control way to early in the game. Not even 10 minutes in the game a Boone county player received a red and there were many more to be followed. In the end 4 Boone county players and two Scott players were given red cards and the yellows received had to be close to if not double digits. The red card for Treadway was due to a Boone county player kicking the ball while Morgan was on the ground into Morgans face, Treadway then pushed the player while the ref was under the impression that there was a punch. And as far as ScottEagles comment on Morgan being slow and not being one of the quality players for Scott he was the difference tonight and showed his speed and importance of his role. Game ended 2 to 1 Scott. I hope I never have to watch a game get that out of control again.
  13. I think he was referring to how quickly the players are able to move the ball on the turf. Not how quick the players are.
  14. Morgan and Treadway with a great link up in the middle to a through ball and an assist from Morgan to a goal for Treadway.
  15. If you are suggesting to put other players " up there " referring to Schneider and Treadway you won't find any better attacking threat on the Scott team, or most of NKY for that matter. Knowing almost every current player at Scott I know this is true. Morgan being one of Scott's returning leading goal scorers and being one of the better midfielders around there's no one at Scott that I could see playing in his tracks. ( Also adds a qaulity goal scoring threat ) Hegerty is a sneaky little player and you never know with him, he provides help in the central area of the field. I also believe he had a couple goals himself in the past years. Scott has no issues with their offense, they lack on the defensive side but from what I heard and seen their are signs of improvement.
  16. Morgan Treadway and Schneider combined are one of the best if not the best offensive set group of players around. ( Comparable to coopers Snow, Ross, O'brien ) They together will have no problem against the brossarts defense I'm sure of it.
  17. Scott vs highlands game was a terrible officiated game. Not saying it impacted the score much because highlands only had about 5 on goal when I'd say Scott had around 10-12 but the center ref without a doubt was on the highlands side with them having double digit fouls and Scott only having about 5. I'd say Scott had about 60-70 possession and looked the better team just couldn't convert a lot of chances.
  18. For as long as I can remember in high school soccer whenever a player is given a yellow card, he/she must leave the field and then may be subbed back in. Atleast that's how it's always worked in HS, not the same for club.
  19. Yes that was a silly thing for the young brossart player to do. Really hope we don't see that anymore. Although I wash he was shown a red card. I realize this was just a scrimmage but showing a yellow card just makes it seem as if it was an okay thing to do.
  20. The yellow card for Treadway was due to him blocking a short freekick for Ryle right as it was taken and he was not 10 yards from the ball.
  21. Btw... The 17-18 players you saw pretty much was the whole squad. Unfortunately Scott is not lucky enough to have 30 possible varsity players as a good amount of the kids that played last night in the match were JV players. Scott did not have their whole varsity line up in together at the same time once.
  22. Yes I believe Treadway missed some games early in the season due to a knee surgery. Scoring 4 goals in a 6 to 6 tied game only proves that he is a player to watch, it's not like a situation where a team won 10-0.
  23. I don't know why some of the teams stats were not listed, I happen to over hear conversation at a club game and found out that Morgan received offensive player of the year for Scott. I was surprised he beat out Treadway so I asked what his stats were. I was told that Morgan lead the team with 16 and 16. I remember thinking that those were pretty good numbers for a sophomore playing in Treadways shadow. It will be interesting to see how things go with that team this year.
  24. IMO... I believe Devin Morgan having 16 goals and 16 assists last year leading stats for Scott as a sophomore should be one of the top returning players. I would agree Cj Seay should be the areas too goalie. Jacob Hensly from NCC will be one of the top returning defenders along with Parker Kenny for CCH, both returning as seniors I believe.
  25. Only one of the players on the u16 kha team will be missing the remaining games after the second game. The KHA boys beat the previous Region 2 finalists today 2 to 0. If things keep heading in the right direction KHA should find themselves advancing. Fingers crossed.
