Who wins, and why?

I'm going to say it'll be a close one, 2-1, Scott with the win. Boone might look to possess the ball more, but Scott has more of the raw talent and speed up top and in the middle. I have the score being close because the game is at Boone. The grass conditions will slow down the game not allowing the speed of Morgan, Schneider, and Treadway to play as quick as they would on turf.

Two shaky defenses here I think but I'll say Scott's keeper is the difference in a 4-3 Scott win.

I can see the score being a bit higher, but I think Scott's defense is a little better than people give them credit. Not as solid as they were 2 years ago, but can hold it together. 1-0 against Ryle (yes, although a home game) and they have some legit threats.

I still think that the Scott offense will be able to dictate the speed of play, even though this is being played at Boone.

 

I am going with Scott winning this one 3-1.

NKU has a nice Freshman forward from Mexico (Diego Martinez)... his home town is listed on the roster.

I think he was referring to how quickly the players are able to move the ball on the turf. Not how quick the players are.

Right, that's what I meant that they live in Boone county somewhere and not in Mexico. That would be a long way to go for a game! lol

 

I am not certain they are from Mexico but I though I heard them speaking Mexican during a game so I just guessed. They may be from Costa Rica or something too so who knows but they are good players.

Maybe they were speaking Spanish... not sure I have have heard anyone speaking Mexican before. I will make sure and have my son, who is American, refrain from speaking any spanish while on the field, do not want him to be labeled.

 

I will offer a suggestion or opinion, take it as you wish, or just ignore it....

 

I would do no more than say that Boone has some good players that will give us some problems, match up issues, etc... maybe even mention their names if you know them. I would refrain from saying where you think they are from, especially since you are not sure, I do not see this as being relevant or fair to the people you are mentioning.

Probably a good idea to have your son speak only American while on the pitch.
