Take nothing away from your girls. They are a tough team with multiple skilled players and will no doubt be back next year. Congrats to the Lady Rams on an amazing 30+ win season.

Thank you but coming off of a 30+ win season themselves I would take nothing away from Raceland and anticipate a very tough match from the beginning. One game at a time Lady Eagles!!!

Truth be told hard to say since I have never seen either team play and know them only by what I've read on here. However, the girls are focused on one game at a time as everything from this point on is a bonus.

For the first time in school history, Scott HS Lady Eagle Volleyball team takes home the 10th Region Championship with a 3-0 win over a very tough and very skilled Campbell Co. Team. Congrats to the Lady Camels on a great season. And Congrats to the Lady Eagles and best of luck at the state tournament!!!

Congrats to the Red Colonels on a great season and a great finish to the season. This group battled though one key injury after another. Finishing the season in a great battle against a very talented team where they battled back from as much 15 down to win with 11 seconds on the clock is a testament to the toughness of this group of kids. Great Job Colonels!!!

Scott HS advances to the Region 10 finals to face Campbell Co. for the 3rd consecutive year. Congratulations to both teams on a great year and Good Luck to the Lady Eagles!!!!

10th Region Tournament continues tonight at Scott HS. Scott vs GRC at 6:30 Campbell County vs Montgomery Co. at 7:30

Worked for me....just a little copy and paste. Congratulations on Jessica Tapp and Coach Andrea Sullivan form Scott High School for being named 10th Region Player and Coach of the year.

Wow, I am sure the other players at Scott appreciate the slam against their talent. Now, to avoid the banter back and forth and for the record. Between the 2 teams that contended for the AAU State Title 4 will be in the starting lineup for Scott. 2 of these players also played in the AAU National Title game and the other 2 are in the starting lineup for the #1 Nationally Ranked D2 team. To say there was not other players as talented simply proves your lack of knowledge about the Eagles. Now back to the true point at hand. I think someone else hit the nail on the head. Neace is a very good player and an excellent shooter. But to say she is an upgrade to Owings, no offense to JT, it is simply not true.

Scott wins 3-0 25-12 25-6 25-12 Congrats to the Lady Bears on a great season. In the end the hitters for Scott just seam to find the open spots on the court and the blocking tandem of Kallmeyer and Davis made it difficult to get effective strikes. Take nothing away from Bracken Co. I see a lot of potential in those girls GRC over Harrison Co. 3-1 I don't have scores after game 1 taken by HC 25-22. However, the report I got goes like this. HC was fast and battled for points frequently enough to win the first game. The 2nd game started out 8-1 in favor of GRC and continued to roll as the tall hitter for GRC proved to be to much for the smaller, scrappier HC. Congrats to HC on a great season. Congrats to GRC on the win setting up a very interesting match up verses the Scott Lady Eagles.

Classy comments aside, both the girls at Campbell County and Bishop Brossart are very tough and very talented. Yes Scott played really well against both teams this year and pulled out wins but regardless of the scores all matches were hard fought and nobody gave up easy points. Be proud of your girls they are fighters!!!

Last I heard it was Scott 16 Conner 15, Conner had the ball with a out 5min in the 4th qtr.

While I am keeping my fingers crossed I am very cautiously optimistic. My daughter has been at this for a while now and I have seen some crazy things happen come tournament time. Go Lady Eagles!!,

While Scott is playing really well I don't want to take anything away from the other teams. There is several teams with very talented players still to get past (counting chickens and all that).

Just holding mine till the end of volleyball season. Guessing many others might be doing the same.....LOL

District 37 Tournament play began tonight with a shocking upset!!! The Lady Trains of Silver Grove (one of the youngest but gutsiest teams I have seen) come out on top of Calvary Christian tonight. 23-25 Calvary 26-24 Silver Grove 25-15 Silver Grove 25-17 Silver Grove Congrats Lady Trains!!!!

Young yes but very scrappy and very athletic. They can and will give even the best teams big time fits. Any team that is foolish enough to fall asleep on them will quickly found themselves down and out.

IMO this game should be a coin flip A. bush or not. Truth be told A. Bush seems to have missed so much of the year from what I have read on here that it actually may not benefit Ryle to have her back. That said from what I have been able to follow NDA is playing some of its best vball of the season while Ryle doing well seems to not always be as focused and struggles with consistancy from one set to the next. I said it earlier after seeing both teams early in the season within a week of each other I felt like Ryle was the stronger team. Both teams had great hitters but Ryle seemed do better with serve/receive and seamed to have 4-5 really good hitters compaired to 2 at NDA. That said we are now coming to the end of the season and both teams have had time to improve. While I think NDA may have made greater gains I would not wager a "wooden nickel" on this game as it is too close to call, but more so because this has been a crazy great season full of surprises and anything can happen.

Neace's departure already been talked about. It will be interesting to see who steps up to fill the absence of Benson. While Stevers and Wagner will be expected to fill the gap.

Scott obviously comes into the District & Regional Tournaments as the favorite. However, it is the post season and anything can happen. Certainly you can't count Campbell Co. out just based on their post season experience.
