I wouldn't call this a prediction thread because volleyball seems hard to predict. Is this the biggest game of the year in NKY? Saw earlier posts about Ryle being a top team in 9th, with some saying they are the top team. And ND seems to be doing well too. Is the winner the favorite to win the 9th?

Without a doubt this is the biggest local match of the season. St. Henry was proven to be no match for NDA so Ryle is the last hope for the locals. Hopefully Ryle will be at full strength. If the setter isn't back NDA will win fairly easily IMO.

Ryle is not the top team without Ashley Bush. NDA is clear favorite with Ashley Bush out for Ryle but I'd say NDA's chance of winning the region is lower than last year, just not sure by how much. They might breeze right through the 9th or it could turn out to be quite the challenge.

Without Ashley Bush, ryle loses in 3 (assuming it's best 3 of 5).

IMO this game should be a coin flip A. bush or not. Truth be told A. Bush seems to have missed so much of the year from what I have read on here that it actually may not benefit Ryle to have her back. That said from what I have been able to follow NDA is playing some of its best vball of the season while Ryle doing well seems to not always be as focused and struggles with consistancy from one set to the next. I said it earlier after seeing both teams early in the season within a week of each other I felt like Ryle was the stronger team. Both teams had great hitters but Ryle seemed do better with serve/receive and seamed to have 4-5 really good hitters compaired to 2 at NDA. That said we are now coming to the end of the season and both teams have had time to improve. While I think NDA may have made greater gains I would not wager a "wooden nickel" on this game as it is too close to call, but more so because this has been a crazy great season full of surprises and anything can happen.

Anyone who says it's not a benefit having the best player on the team back healthy is out of their mind, and is probably working a different agenda.

If she's healthy I'm sure she will play, but I could also see holding her back for the playoffs next week - likely these 2 teams meet again in playoffs with Region title on the line.

Interested to hear from folks at the match. Did NDA make adjustments or something else happen? First 2 games super tight and final 2 not so much!

NDA controls game 4 and wins the match (25-12)

Ryle serve receive and defense was very poor in the last 2 sets. That was the biggest difference. Get Ryle out of system and they struggle big time.
