As far as who will be the signal caller, as soon as they get those returner and perhaps that ONE, develop them early during spring football... Knights will be just fine.

Catholic has never been known as a wrecking crew defense, they are more like a " Bend but don't break defense ". And as far on who is returning... From what I saw last season, D-line will be solid ( #50 , 11 #92 ) all returns, secondary will be ok with 1 corner return, but that LB core will be the highlight. Knights had several fill in during all the injuries last season. Foster, Pedrochi, Sharp all started numerous games and were solid. 1 of the twins ( not Thompson's ) and Lauderbach will fill in well for graduated Mitchell and Couch.

What if that transfer player never played varsity only freshman and maybe JV and decided to transfer to another public or private ( IN TOWN ), will he be able to play at the new right away? it might be a LEGEND-ry leap. Wink wink.

Here is the bottom line Joker, I too am a product a private school system GLC Cincy. And WE all know here in Lexington, that the public school has and ALWAYS have animosity/ dislike to the private school system. I get that and it will never change. Student body and parents on both side will always have that dislike to each other. Just like RoRob mentioned we all saw what happen after the game when that Lafayette student taunted the LCA, but nothing was said or mentioned on this post. I can remember one season when Creek beat Lex Catholic in the district finals, Creek student section rushed the court bombarded and bumped several Knight's players, but again nothing was mentioned or said on any post. So now some handful of idiot LCA might have chanted something to a player and private schools are targeted as not being CHRISTIAN like as I heard one Lafayette supporter. Or " Daddy's money " chant, or spoiled, stuck up kids which WE ALL hear and heard in the past. Oh by the way good luck to Lafayette and Lex catholic tonight.

Believe me I am not offended by it, but are you stating since they are PRIVATE school kids/ parents that they should behave better? I have been to several school games private and public and you should see and hear some of the chants that the student section. How about parents? I have seen and hear parent's loose their mind at ballgames too. Just trying to understand what you meant by that statement.

What about them? I am speaking for the 43rd district here. Station is in the 42nd. And as far as who is the best in the 11th region, a handful of programs can claim that... ie Scott Co, Lex Catholic, Lex Christians, Lafayette, Henry Clay so Station is not or seems to be the best.

True statement and correct me if I am wrong. The reason those teams you mentioned don't dominate like they should is because they are not discipline players to play a system. They are more a " Me, Me, Me " type players. You look at Lex Catholic, Lafayette, they don't have the GREAT athletes, but they have enough players that buys into the program/ system and they make it work. Which shows when they advance on to the regional and who goes further in the tournament.

From what I have seen from last season, the player the might lead the Knights at QB will be the kid that played wide receiver last season, Andy Thompson. They have other young QB on the roster that saw mop up job and very athletic as well.

In my opinion, this game was the 43th district's championship game. 2 top 15 teams in the state. It's a shame that one team had to loose, but that's the way it is.

How come the seeding is played as such.... #4 vs #5 and #2 vs #3 ? Shouldn't it be the highest seed #2 plays the lowest seed #5 and #3 vs #4 ? and I know #1 seed has a bye. Can anyone explain?

I did pass HS math and that seems to be a total of 5. This is not above me man, but for you to say that no players in that program is NON- EXISTENT of any players that has talent to play the next level like D-1 or D-1AA, is just insulting. I guess you never saw these young man play. Again congrats to all these kids and are a few more as the school year goes.

4 non existent D-1 kids HUH! So far 5 has committed to a D-1 school and perhaps 1 more this season. Next year I say 2-3, so in my math that would have been 6-8 non existent D-1 on Lex Catholic roster last season. But did they beat BG? NO
