Wonder how many of LCA's "hard" kids are gonna try to find Lucky or see him out somewhere and tell him what they were chanting at him face-to-face?

Thanks for the link

What was it?

Feel bad for Tre King, kid hits that shot 99/100 times.

I'm not repeating it here. One, it'd be a violation. Two, if it wasn't, I still wouldn't.

Lafayette with some "head-scratching" decisions in the last 2 minutes.

Hate to see that kind of stuff at a high school game.

Agreed. Especially coming from a private school that's one of the tops in the area.

You have way, way, way more discretion on keeping your kids outta that stuff at games and it was kinda surprising that, if the admin knew what it meant, that they'd let it go.

C'mon... you're better than that LCA.

Again, I couldn't hear it super well, but if it's what I think it was, and I can't think of what else it would have been, then it's just tasteless.

Some of the stuff students are chanting is getting out of hand. Its time for some kind of punishment!

Thanks for the link

No problem, anytime. I love sharing links because it's how I get to follow so many of these games.

Another nail biter in the 43rd district tournament. The district tournament might be tougher then the 11th region tournament this year.

To the game topic:

Hard fought one that you hate to see either team lose. LCA looked like they jumped out pretty quick early, but Lafayette made a big run, they played even for awhile, Jenkins went to the bench and Lafayette's O sputtered a bit. HUGE 3 by Jajuante Carpenter that wound up being the last look in the

1-3-1 that LCA was using to give them some trouble with Jenkins out. After that, next trip down, LCA goes man, Lafayette switches into a 2 guard, spread look and makes LCA chase them. Trimble had a run with a few straight points and it was looking like LCA was about to go on a huge run. Then Lucky comes down and hits the three, gets the rebound and the hoop and harm and it's pushed back out.

Something I don't understand: why do you have the ball leaving Rose's hands down one after you've just called a TO?

Admittedly, I'm not a coach and don't know the game nearly as well as anyone who is, but I think you put it in Rode's hand, have him dribble twice five feet inside of the half court line, hand off to an 8th grader who drives it and dumps to a kid who hasn't started a ton of games for you on the block to go up for 2 against Jenkins, all while Rose stands on the opposite side behind the three point line.

I'm not whatever about questioning coaches, and admitted such above, but if that's what was drawn up, but what-the-what? Could someone explain it to me if I'm missing something?
