I didn't read ALL of the posts, so this may be a repeat but didn't this same kinda situation happen with Michael Mitchell from highlands....
I think it is a stupid situation to be in anyway...... Closer to GOD.... JOKE
I think, if we go there, cooper would be a solid 3. I would have said 2, but from my understanding some very silly errors in the field on their part, at key times.
As a former player, I have seen it. And something as great as a perfect game, can be destroyed by talk... Which by the way 8th grader pitching freshman perfect game ....... Hats off
Let's just hope he is humble about it, and gives credit to his team for helping him do what he did... I would hate to see his team never let it happen again, because he is running his mouth and acting like he is the best or better than his team.
Ok, the info I got.... Early in the season, cooper pitching yesterday pretty solid. Worked their way out of some jams, never got rattled. Fielding same. Catching, threw 6 kids out from behind the plate. If these kids get comfortable with each other, this will be a very good season.
Wasn't there but heard cooper is loaded with pitching. some freshman couple 8th graders and a transfer from Boone. I would have to get better details on who was pitching, a roster would help a lot, anyone have stats on game?
I agree with Spindoc....Sometimes it is better to retire gracefully, no matter what you may think of the situation. Legends want to be remembered as legends and what they built. Not by causing a big stink about how it went down, in their eyes. One word "CLASS"
When the new coach steps in, he will have a LOT of talent to work with. I have seen what they have coming up, from peewee to freshman. Impressed
