I somewhat have to agree, this 2 platoon business is not what I grew up with. You play the best kids, period. In this series, however Cooper varsity played awesome. Highlands JV played awesome. I actually won on both, as both my teams actually won. Hope Cooper keeps playing strong. Highlands, not worried, regroup and learn from it. Go Cooper Go Highlands

I will have to sit on the fence on this game. On one hand once a Bluebird, always a Bluebird. However I have Cooper as well. I think this will be a very good game. The best team and best coaching plan wins this game. Just would be nice if someone is secretly a fan of Highlands and Cooper, they would just move their kid from SK to one of those schools. Bring on the cupcake pioneers !!!!!!!

Ummm Highlands will dominate this class, like they have ALL others. .

What do you believe? I think there are all types of things unexplained. So me, yes aliens, ghosts, and other strange things. Ghosts, when I was young 35 years ago, I lived in Normandy Green apts. Saw a ghost on the grounds.

Cooper will be in dire need of a QB, but IDK who you go with, a kid that has played it on JV and some Varsity, or what I call a Sophie? I would always go with experience and age, but the way everyone is talking, coach is leaning younger. Then you have to look at defense, if they bring back all the hurt seniors where does it leave the ones that filled in and helped the team make a deep run at State. About the only thing for certain on the team IS TCA, Kellers and Watson. Everything else is WAY up in the air. This year could be good or bad, just depends on how the decisions are made.

From what I have seen, Scott has 0 chance at making this a close one. SK late in the season, Scott won't be within 4 TD's. And who was the smart one that made this Senior night....... Ouch

It is really hard to pick out one outstanding athlete. This sophomore class is jammed packed full of big play makers. I know I will for sure seeing Covington Catholic, Ryle, Conner and Cooper will be a start just from the kids I have seen in the past. I really am looking forward to this season.

Ummmm was a joke. My point was to give the QB job to a kid that has already put in the work on the Varsity squad and has proved he can do what it takes to win.

Padgett is a seasoned QB. Why would you consider a sophy over that? Padgett could move and more important, think on his feet. Look at the South Oldham game for instance. The kid has leadership skills as well. But you also get the people (parents) that think jimmy is better than Tommy. Look where it got that kid that left Conner to play for the Bengals last year...,, haha nowhere. I say Padgett get the nod but the other youngster will get quite a few snaps as well.

Pull up the video on youtube..... If the kid was mouthy..... Big deal....was a vicious cheap shot. Loss of scholarship, was only the beginning... Players be warned, actions have consequences.

Went to this showcase game, to see "Whats wrong with Cooper". For this game, nothing. From top to bottom, hitting was on. Pitching and fielding were spot on. If there was a problem, I really didn't see it.

Wow...... He would be a good fit for Cooper High School. Apparently, they are playing 2 Freshman and a Sophomore. Might as well throw in an 8th grader, to keep them talking.

I have seen a few NCC games and they look like they are alright to me.

Who are the Freshman and the sophomore? That will tell a lot.
