Last I heard Smith is out first 2 games. But your right , this game should be an exciting one to attend.

As far as the schedule from the past few years , yes it is a tougher schedule for the Eagles. They have not played NCC, SK, or Dixie in years at the varsity level. They also share district with Bourbon County and Mason County who have both had success in recent years. They still also play Conner this season and that usually is a good match up.

I remember back in the late 80s and early 90s at Scott. Tevis Gray coaching days the school would do bonfires and pep rallys . I do miss the big events and support they used to get with student body and community. Maybe the past couple winning seasons and the potential of this year , will turn a new leaf here in Taylormill and Nky . Go Eagles !!

Scott Eagles Pep Rally tonight at the New Skyline in Taylormill this evening 6pm to 8pm. Come out and support the team and enjoy listening to the band and cheerleaders. Hope everyone can make it out !!

That being said ...I wouldn't over look Scott and the talent they have . They are very well rounded this season. They have a running game , as everyone knows. They also have a passing game . The defense looks solid as well as the special teams . I think it will be a good game . Will definetely be attending this one .

I agree . There are many good athletes at Scott that I believe have the grades and size and ability to play at the next level and because of the name of the program and it's lack of exposure , the ones with a chance to play at the next level has a lot more leg work to do as far as getting noticed than some of the traditional winning schools . Camps, sending emails, videos, has been a chore for us thus far .

I have the upmost respect for Highlands . The name and tradition is huge . Here in Nky , they are the team and program everyone strives to one day have the same success . Cooper on the other hand is a Program that has been very well coached and have had early success in the early stages of a program. I would love to see Cooper win this one. It would be great for the program. I think this game will be very close . I think Highlands will win. I think Highlands pulls away in the 4th with it . Birds by 12.

I agree. I am fine with staying under the radar . It may be a benefit , in the end.

You may see Scott added in the mix after Friday . Then the following week they have Dixie .

I see a lot of opportunity for some of these spots to change after this weekend .

Ron Rice and Gage Tucker both oline and dline out of "Scott" in nky will play college ball after all said and done. Neither has committed , but are being heavily looked at.

Looked like all key players for ncc played Friday night ? I thought I heard someone may of been out . It is nice to see both teams healthy and prepared.Should be a good one.

John Williams did very well in the Boone County Leauge and has speed and skill. He will be fun to watch for the next couple of years. As of this season I do like Lunsford . Good athlete.

He will be wearing #47 . He got announced one of team captains last night . The team has 3 8th grade captains and 1 7Th grade team captain for the varsity. He is a leader on the defense. They play tomorrow night at Sk at 7 against Summit View.
