Not saying who’s right or who’s wrong just a big difference in total yds. -

Wow these stats really differ from the stats Boyle’s radio crew gave after the game, I believe the radio crew had Central with less than 140 yds total offense. -
Class 3A Semifinal: #3 Belfry at #2 DeSales

I’ll take Belfry in a close one. -
Read it yourself Central put a running clock on this year’s Boyle seniors, you made it sound as if this year’s senior class got a running clock put on them by Central as freshman and IMO that wasn’t the case only a few of them played in that game, that’s what I took offense too. You’re right Central didn’t win it in 2016. but they did play Belfry for the title and had one of the best teams in the state.

So 5 freshman got to play against a senior laden state title team on a Boyle team that wasn’t good at all and you’re saying they got spanked, if I were you I would lay the blame more on the upperclassmen of that Boyle team than the 5 freshman and Sam Tiller was the starting QB for Boyle Reed didn’t come in till the game was out of reach, you see it how you want to as for me I don’t see it as those 5 freshman got spanked, in your original post you made it sound as if Boyle’s senior class got a running clock put on them as freshman by Central and that was far from the truth.

Yes Broyles is a great player, the numbers always tell the story and to clear up muddy water I’m a Boyle County fan, I just felt like everyone should know how handicapped Franklin’s offense was going into this game.
-
Yes he did, Nick Broyles their starting QB accounted for 3,396 total yds for Franklin this season around 2300 yds passing and close to a 1000 yds rushing when you take a QB like that out of a game it’s going to have a major impact on the ball game!

Franklin County playing without their starting QB has to be taken into consideration in Central’s dominating defensive performance.
-
First of all congrats to Central on the win and to Franklin for having a great season it’s hard to beat a good team without your starting QB. The game between Central and Boyle you speak of was a varsity game that only a couple of these Boyle seniors even played in and it wasn’t a running clock the final score was 37-6 that Boyle team finished 7-5 and in all honesty wasn’t very good, don’t mean to offend but I had to set the record straight.

Total Domination by Boyle, a lot of those holding penalties if they were actually holds should have been called both ways by a flag happy white hat. -
In a varsity game that only a few played in?

Boyle is a tough place to play in the playoffs they’ve lost 1 playoff game at home in the last 23 years I believe they’re are 46-1 during that the time period according to Rebel, one of Boyle’s faithful fans.
