They struggled a little bit on D. Not having Runion hurt a lot as he probably would have guarded #5 but credit to Campbell they played with a ton of energy and hit some shots

Cooper was without Runion who was sick and Walters got in foul trouble early! Sean McNeil was a man tonight had to have close to 30 points

Fantastic game between two solid teams! On two separate occasions Cooper led by 10 but Campbell kept fighting back and made it interesting to the final buzzer. Congrats to both teams and good luck in districts

I hope so too. That way you won't have any excuses on Friday at about 9:30!!! Ha ha I'm just messing! Hopefully both teams can play well, come out healthy and we get to see a good game. That's all I care about at this point

First, not true, as they had another game in between this game and the Cooper game Friday and seemed to play just fine against PC. Second, be careful what you wish for. Cooper is now back at full strength and the last thing I would want to do is add fuel to that fire. Hoping for a good game Friday, but I wouldn't smoke screen any games for a game against a team that doesn't really matter because there are no district or region implications in the game at all.

A little partial but Cooper has to be up there as mentioned before. The combination of Hendrix, Kunkel, and McNeil is a three man back court most coaches would beg to have. They are really really good. Not slighting the others mentioned because I have seen a lot of really talented back courts in the state

lol I agree. I am going with World's Strongest Man as he is originally from Sweden! But in all honestly, Georgetown is getting a steal! Most bigger schools said he lacked a little bit of lateral quickness to play at that level but anyone that has watched film on this young man knows he can FLAT OUT PLAY!! Georgetown has to be chomping at the bit with this one! Congrats Rocs!!!

It was nice to see Sean McNeil suited up for Cooper and warming up even though he didn't see any minutes. One step closer to being back on the floor. Hopefully he gets a few minutes Saturday. Chris should also be back in the next week or so which is good timing to get healthy for the Jags!

One thing I thought that CCH did very well that not a lot of teams were able to do was get Kunkel out of his game, forcing it a bit, and speeding him up. A few questionable shots where I think he just wanted to take over but CCH really made it tough on him

Yeah very nice execution and he did what a 7 footer should do. Slam that sucker home

He didn't play terribly but nothing stood out at you with him. Guarded Walters and did decent, gave up a big rebound and put back on a free throw for Cov Cath late in the 4th. Kid has to get more physical which will come he is only a sophomore

Guru, Walter's dunk was pretty textbook! I mean no slight but kind of basic but a good offensive set. Cooper player was fronting him, lobbed over the top, no back side rotation and two hand flushed it down

I know it isn't worth much but Hendrix had to lead Cooper and Rusthatz(sp) and Mayer had to lead CCH

Awesome game. Cooper had chances to make this a lot tougher for CCH to pull out with about 2:30 left in the game but Cov Cath made big plays down the stretch to get the W! Congrats to Cov Cath first, but really both teams for putting on the best high school game I have seen in a long time!!!

What a fantastic game!!! Worth every penny!!! These two teams should (hopefully) play for the regional championship and it will hopefully be as fantastic as tonight was! Whichever team wins neither team should hang their head

I will go ahead and say this and sorry to anyone that I offend, but it is absolutely ridiculous to hold this big of a game in such a tiny gym. They should have worked out a deal to move it anywhere and Cov Cath takes the fate, but this is ridiculous.

Yes they are playing without both Chris and Sean. I believe Sean is kind of day to day as he has been going to therapy and looks a lot better. Off crutches with no limp. I think Chris is supposed to go back to the doctor next week?? But I am not sure on that one I know his cast is supposed to come off soon and as long as everything is ok he should be back in a couple weeks I would assume

I was told they would not be taking any ticket purchases the night of and everyone had to purchase in advance through Cov Cath main office. Now, if they haven't sold as many as originally planned maybe they will sell tickets the night of the game?

As far as the game goes, I think Cooper's X-Factor in this game could be Blaine Walters (#20). If CCH Walters is guarding him he has to be able to stretch him away from the basket and knock down some 3's to open up some lanes for Kunkel, Hendrix, and Runion
