I have already talked to Tackett, he said they have no jurisdiction over Middle School Wrestling in this area.

I acted like somewhat of an idiot at the event, but didn't do anything over the edge. There was 3 nurses and 1 nurse practitioner that all looked at it also and they said let him wrestle, he's good. His coaches talked to all the other coaches which shouldn't have to be done, but they said let him wrestle, He's the #1 kid in the State for crying out loud. It's treated ringworm that wasn't contagious??? All of his coaches, Athletic Director, and High School Coach is fighting this as well. He is a total mess and told me he doesn't want to wrestle in High School because of this. This can really screw a kid up!

He wrestled last week at District's and won that. He was #1 seed at Regional and that's when the officials disqualified him for ringworm that we had all the appropriate documentation for. He was ranked #1 in the State, this is a horrible situation.

How in the world do you as an official discredit your On-Site trainer to disqualify the #1 kid in the state for ringworm when the kid had a KHSAA skin release form signed by a doctor releasing him to wrestle? There was an official that had ties with another team that had a kid that would have seen my son in the finals. Fishy??? Dirty??? The doctor's release form says that ringworm is not contagious after 48 to 72 hours. My son has been on treatment for 5 days. I think when an official or a coach has any power to overrule a Medical Professional that becomes child endangerment. The KHSAA form clearly states that the only person that can overrule the signed medical document is an on-site Medical Professional. Any Thoughts or comments?

I would have to throw the Stangs in the top 3 with 9 Seniors on the Roster. There will be a pitching change in the circle due to the Shack graduating, but I'm sure they will be fine.

Did she get hurt? Will this effect her college ball?

Who are the top 3 teams going to be in the 10th region and why? I'm going with..... GRC, Harrison Co, and Campbell Co. GRC and Harrison are very experienced and are always in the mix in the post season. Campbell I think is going to have a break out year, this is the year to get a lot of monkeys off our back.

Congrats to Coach Mason and the Camels on the Cake Eater Win!!!! The 8th grade is a very athletic group coming up, not Big by far, but with the mix when they get to Varsity will very interesting :thumb:

I would have to go with Ms. Graybill. I had the pleasure of seeing her hit some lasers to all parts of the field. When my DD started with Bishop Brossart when she was a Freshman, Shelby was an 8th grader. When we played Highlands the first time of my DD Freshman year, I told my DD not to pitch to Shelby. I told her I have been reading on BGP that this girl has been hitting the :poop: out of the ball. I got to the game late and was coming down the hill (At Highlands) and Shelby hit one off the fence, I looked at my daughter and she just gave my that blank stare lol We went on to beat them 14-3 I might add lol.

Congrats Woodland!!! I know when Campbell played you it was a hard fought game. I wish I could have seen the Championship game, sounds like a good one
