HC did not punt all game. Their speed and tackling woes by CC aided to HC moving the ball at will. CC D had some opportunities at 3rd and longs to force a punt but HC's speed did the Camels in. CC moved the ball on O but HC D steps up when they need to with a huge 4th down stop inside the 10 yard line and 3 INTs (2 pick 6 and the other resulting in a TD) 1 pick 6 went for 100 yards. CC has to find a way to capitalize when they have the ball in the red zone and cut down on the TO's. They can't keep giving teams 21 points and expect to win. On a positive note, love how hard sophomore Alex Dowds runs, goes north and south. Talked to some very classy HC parents after the game. Best of luck to HC in the playoffs. Hoping CC puts everything behind them and realizes everyone is 0-0 now. Never let your past define your future. Go Camels.

Watching the game in the stands, it appeared that there were more Camels on crutches than active participants. Though I wish for I4C's sake, that the Camels look at this just as he said, the reality is when you don't have the horses to run the race, it is virtually impossible to to make believe you do. Good luck to both teams and avoid injuries.

They have enough horses to win more than the one race they won this year. They are by no means an American Pharaoh but they are definitely not some old nag ready for the glue factory. They should be somewhere in the middle of the pack and that's not make believe. They need to run the race as best they can regardless of what's in front of them and overcome any mishap along the way.

^ They should have been better than what they were from a record standpoint, nobody would dispute that. But, when you take bodies away, you take depth away. A team can only survive so many personnel options before it is insurmountable. That said, it's not like all these players were gone through the first four weeks, yet the Camels were no better then than they were when they lost those players later in the year from a record standpoint. Coaches would never make excuses, but reality is reality...

I won't get into the reasons they aren't having success this season. If your saying injuries and lack of talent is the main reason they are struggling this year, You have blinders on. I agree it plays a part but a lot more to it. Good news is it's playoffs. We have a chance to make good on a subpar season. Reality isn't what you only care to see.

I would say my qualifications to "see" are pretty good. One placing a chip on one's shoulder, also causes one to "see" things differently as well.

I've seen people post when their kid is not getting the ball thrown to them, and that causes them to get lost in emotion. It happens I guess.

If your insinuating that I have a chip on my shoulder your totally off base. I gave a game summary and you stated that CCHS just doesn't have the horses and I disagree. I believe in this team and will root for them til the very end. If my kid plays good, I'll tell him he had a good game. If he plays bad I'll tell him he played bad. My qualifications allow me to do that. I won't sugar coat it for him, I'll leave that stuff for Willy Wonka.
