I think the Fieldhouse has to be mentioned. You don't see it as much anymore. But for anyone who's seen it really rock, you know what I'm talking about. The building shakes. You can't hear the guy next to you on the bench. The dimensions are weird so it ice's your shooters a lot of the time. From the 80s on through a couple of years ago nobody wanted to play Mason at home.

Ryle up 21 in the 3rd and didn't pull their starters. Oh the humanity! Where is the outrage? Where I ask you? FEELINGS COULD HAVE BEEN HURT!

Ok I'm sick of this. Did Mason County show one ounce of remorse for running up the score on St. Pat? Did Brossart? Did Pendleton? Did Louisiville Collegiatte? Did New Cath? Did Anderson? No, and none of them got one bit of guff about it. But as soon as the school that isn't supposed to do these things does the sky is falling. Coach Rigdon played his bench plenty, and won with class. GET OVER IT!

I think Maysville's Earl D. Jones deserves to be in the conversation. Nine Region Championships, Two State Finals, and a State Championship. More than most SCHOOLS have ever done.

I heard that Coach Hinson has promised to make the 39th district pay for the wall.

Sorry but that's just false, they voted against the seed from 2006-12 at least, this I know for a fact.

And I don't think anyone's trying make an argument for a draw. I want to see a seed more than anyone. I'm merely having a laugh at how childish the Bears are being about the whole thing.

Good lord, we BEGGED Bracken County to get on board with the idea of seeding for literally my whole career and heard only crickets. Now that seeding may actually make a difference to them they pull this garbage. I'm sorry but that's hilarious.

But St. Pat's gym is ridiculous during local games. Can't hear yourself think. Everyone is stacked on top of each other. Nothing like it. See our past duels with Fleming County, Bracken Country, Augusta, Deming, Ripley, etc. This and Georgetown OH are the two dream games for that gym.

Some exciting news for the Maysville crowd. The crosstown shootout is back. And this season it will take place downtown at St. Patrick for what I believe is the first time in history. The environment for this one is going to be unreal.

10th Region ball never stops. So who at this point do we see leading the pack. I see things as a five horse race. 1. Mason County - Losing Pig hurts, but with the core of Isaiah Garrison, Jaylen Lofton, Levi Dunaway, and Dalton Perkins the defending region champs will be a tough out. 2. Bracken County - They have the best player in the region in Crawford, one of the best coaches in the region in Hinson, and an experienced support staff that's been playing together for years. They're going to be extremely hungry after the way their season ended. This may be the Polar Bears' year. 3. Pendleton County - Two words, Dontae Allen, a future five star recruit and Darius Miller's heir apparent in the line of succession for 10th Region legends. If he stays on Belcher's Bombers may well be headed to Rupp. IF he stays on. That's a big IF. Only time will tell. 4. Scott - They bring back Jake Ohmer, a prolific scorer and the Mick Jagger to Austin Crawford's John Lennon. Losing Coach Carr really hurts though. We will have to see how the crew from Covington adjusts. 5. Montgomery County - They lose a lot to graduation, but they do return probably the best front court in the region in sophomore Brennan Canada and senior Jerryd Jones (probably the most athletic player in the 10th), if Coach Daniel can find the guard play to back them up the Indians are more than capable of continuing their winning ways. What does everyone else think?

Not Really, they have the potential to bw, but have never been looked on as such. Mason's traditional rivals since the re alignment have been GRC, MoCo, and Harrison County. Bracken's have been Augusta, Robertson, St. Pat and Pendleton County. Hope that helps.

Very true, but I've worked under guys who were good players and couldn't coach their way out of paper bag, but these guys are the good kind, no ego issues, a desire and ability to make players better, and perhaps as important a genuine care for their players and love for the game.

Yeah I knew that one wouldn't make any sense, that one's primarily utilized for the soccer team, but like I said he played good ball in HS school, and it's just nice having another high level athlete around.
