Usually most EYBL team that does not make Peach Jam will participate in Peach State tournament in same area. Great exposure tournament with all the college coaches in town.

My understanding was he was unhappy playing with them.. There was talk before AAU season started that he was going to play with TheVille2015.. Any other rumors besides he did not want to play with Travelers anymore is false. There was also another Trinity kid quit the Travelers.

Matts team played well... Charlotte Court played some good teams as well.. The played the ville Betty but lost by 12. Prospects played well but only had 6 players because they dividend the teams. That is all local teams I saw because of gym locations...

Going to be a great July.... July schedule includes Adidas Tournament in Indy, Peach State in Aiken South Carolina (couple miles from Peach Jam), AAU Showcase in Louisville (only select teams invited)..

TheVille played a game in another pool to keep the tournament on track, so TheVille2015 played 5 games over the weekend.. Tournament was poorly ran as mentioned above.

The Diamonds are a good 16U team... I assume big man from Scott County does not play with them anymore.. Otherwise they don't have any big men and just play a fast game.

Both team pulled out of the tournament.. The tournament was very unorganized on Sunday... The prospects schedule caused them to be in Gym @ 8 Sunday morning but didn't play till 11:30 and their next game did not start till late after Ville played. Ville was just sitting around with no true time of game... That was just one side of bracket.. Other side was messed up as well.. Multiple teams pulled out...

I learned that today as well.. Spaulding has ties with Ville team, so he fits in a raises the profile of the team.... Some teams isn't a good fit everyone..

I have heard talk about this before. If it was to happen, it would be interesting to see if he would become eligible. There are several good kids that play on bad team in Jefferson county that would love to transfer to another school if they could become eligible right away.

I heard the same about those kids. Question is why Well would go to Central. In any case, How would those guys become eligible is the biggest question.

It all really depends on the match ups.... Pool pay can be deceiving, once bracket play start, no telling what can happen.

That is a nice tournament, EYBL preferred vent. A lot of EYBL ran programs (16U & 15U) teams. Not sure what to expect from the 17U group. TheVille 17U is playing in the Corey Brewer Memorial Classic in Nashville, TN

The winning bucket was against the NKY Bulldogs on Friday night. Against WKU Elite, The Ville started 6 down in the 4th and blew the game wide open. Stafford can ball. Being a starter @ Trinity says a lot about him.

Teams needs balance to be able to compete. That takes all 5 guys adding something to the equation. Big men are part of the game and not should be counted on just for rebounds. They need to develop the offensive skills as well. Living & dying by the 3 only gets you so far....

Hall had a real nasty dunk Sunday morning. Ville coach had the game professionally recorded, so hope to have the dunk soon. ESPN Top 10 material.

It is good to still have these guys compete as a team this year without their long time coach. Coach Paul did a great job with those guys over the years. I know they have a couple of new guys this year but it is always great to have a nucleolus of guys stay together for years.
