the 16u picked up the matlock kid from hoptown and the Griffith kid from LCA is back with them after being on vacation the last week. Keifer Dalton left the team before atlanta

I don't agree with players being able to skip around from team to team. I assumed Conway was just wanting extra court time and he was committed to young life. I think kids should have to stay on the team they started with for the whole summer.

I am talking about AAU ball. I haven't heard anything about him transferring to Montgomery County. That would be huge. My cousin is Lee Wise-Prewitt, who's son is Omar Prewitt. Ill have to dig around and see what I can find out.

Hoop Dreams 15u has a really strong team. I'm hoping to get a chance to see them play soon. I would love to see them play the Magic 15u team. That team is loaded !! Would be one heck of a game

glad his shoulder was nothing serious and he is back playing. congrats on the wins in cincy. magic 16u play friday night at pitt jam fest against VA ELITE. the 17's play DC Assault friday night also. from what i was told the 16u picked up jacob conway from lincoln. im not sure if it is just for the pitt jam fest or if he is joining for good. you can look at the bracket for the jam fest and everything else you need to know about the event at hoopgroup.com. When did AAU change to grade level instead of age?? How can this happen. Makes no sense to me. You have 16 year old freshmen and 17 year old sophomores. I always thought AAU had to be based on your age. That was the whole point!! At least it was when I played ( even tho that was 15 years ago LOL)

Lets just congratulate the kid and wish him the best!! From all accounts he is a great kid and I actually think he will get some playing time. Maybe not at first or the first year but he will be a valuable asset to UK. A fierce competitor and a hard worker that will bring it every day in practice.

We got beat in the semi-finals by the CP3 allstars. They were loaded. Had the #1 freshmen in the nation, Harry Giles. E1T1 ELITE won the championship for 16u. The 17's got beat in their second game against Team Breakdown. CP3 all stars won 17u championship, lead by Theo Pinson. Top 5 player. 15u Louisville Magic won the championship at the Tip off classic in Indiana. That team is loaded!! Word is Colton Elkins dominated. Heard from several people he was best player at tournament

Showing off and dunking during warmups means nothing!! How many dunks do you see during the game?? I also heard this team got beat

This would be huge for the area. I hope it goes thru. I agree with Thomas hager, Mercer Co has one of the nicest gyms I've been to and I've been involved in high school basketball for a long time. Coach Britt is doing a great job with that program

The Louisville magic 16u are 2-0 on the day at the elite youth basketball classic in Atlanta,GA. They just beat southern stampede by 15. Beat team out of north Carolina first game. Play tomorrow morning and if they win that they will be in championship

I work weekends so I haven't been able to see them practice or see who's on the 15u team. I do know elkins and stearns Fromm Wayne County are on the team. The magic are practicing today in Lexington before they leave for Atlanta tomorrow so I'm going up to watch them workout for the first time.

AAU has to be based on age. Always has. There's plenty of freshmen who are 16, seniors who are 18 due to being held back

Heard goodin has left the travelers to play with hoop dreams. Can anybody verify this. If this is true it would be the 2nd player to leave the travelers in many weeks

You all are crazy if you don't think basketball is 100% the reason this kid transfered. Nothing against him or Holmes but he should not be eligible next year.

thanks for the info about Dixon. Do u have the roster for hoop dreams 16u?? Where do you all hold practice at?? Are you practicing this week during spring break. If so I'd really like to come and check out the teams. I've always heard Mike Scott knows his stuff, interested to see how he runs practices. I'd also like to watch will compete against great talent. Your boy is one heck of a ballplayer
