  1. Just like any tournament. It is all about match ups. You can be the best team but not match up well with another and be sent home.
  2. Thank goodness he doesn't play football. Could you imagine what a sight that would be in the stands every Friday night.
  3. Kunkel's HUDL film speaks for itself. Lot of great 2018 players in the 9th. Haven't seen too many with his overall athleticism. And he also gets after it on D. Will only get bigger, stronger, and better.
  4. There is no doubt that Morgan showed his arm strength last year. Can only imagine how he is going to look this year. Most teams in NKY do not have D1 caliber wide receivers and Morgan has a D1 caliber arm. Heck, most 6A schools up here are lucky to have 22 players on their team that can actually play and not be a down grade. When he throws quick slants or in a tight window and has to zip it that is when you see the drops. Sure, there are a few receivers up here that can play somewhere in college, but not enough on one ream. In my opinion his arm is just too big and is a challenge for the average high school player to catch some of his throws. Even more difficult in cold weather playoff time. Maybe Ryle should also think about running the ball more too. They have several very good running backs. I have no dog in the fight. Just one persons opinion.
  5. Heck, I enjoyed watching Holmes warm up as much as the games back in the day.
  6. What is she going to be like when he gets to the NBA. He is going to get there in her mind anyway.
  7. I don't care. I have no dog in the fight. I just know that he or his parents won't be paying for his college.
  8. Not Drew Brees but will be a D1 QB somewhere.
  9. I know. Drew Brees is too short too.
  10. Ok then.... What QB up here has the strongest arm and has the most velocity on their throws.....Tanner Morgan. I think he needs to dial down some of his throws to make it easier on his receivers. Again won't have to worry about it in college.
  11. Do they keep stats on drops. If they do I would like to know how many Ryle had last year.
  12. Adam Kunkel - Class of 2018 HUDL film.2
  13. I think Morgan is the best passer in NKY. I think his receivers had problems catching the ball out of their breaks because of the velocity that he puts on his throws. D1 receivers won't drop as many.
  14. Did I complain Blueboy. I only stated what might have been and was very gracious and happy for New Cath's victory. I guarantee during the game you were thinking if only we had those guys. The only difference is that I expressed what I thought on here. You know that you have thought what might have been in your mind a thousand times. Again, happy for New Cath.....WIN STATE!!!!
  15. And yeah, losing players on other teams does effect them more than Cov. Cath. with all of that superior depth that they have.
  16. Isn't that what I said Blueboy? Didn't I say you have to play with what you got and circumstances?
  17. I agree with you. I only wish that Cooper was 100% healthy for regionals. They were really a shell of themselves during their game with New Cath. These injuries really did hamper them and throw them out of sync. McNeil had 4 days of practice and Kunkel was really hobbled by his thigh injury along with Hendrix being out. Please don't read to much into this B-Ball-Fan. I know you have to play with what you got and circumstances. If Cooper had to lose to a team I'm glad it was to New Cath. because I really like and respect Coach Dawn. I know B-Ball-Fan, you want to tell me that New Cath's defense is what made Cooper out of sync. You may be right. I just keep thinking of what might have been. See, I'm trying to be more thoughtful in my posts for you.....Ha Ha!!! Congrats to New Cath. WIN STATE!!!!!!!
  18. I second that. Also congrats to coach Dawn a very classy coach and gentleman. Special congrats to Luke Moeves. Great kid.
  19. They will have to get by Coopers special sophomore class and McNeil with Hendrix.....I can't wait!!!!
  20. I try not to think about what he is doing when he is in bed thinking about Highlands football and their roster.....Ha Ha!!!!
  21. I know B-Ball-Fan. I really do enjoy your thoughtfull posts and responses to other posts. I have really enjoyed reading this site for a while and respect everyone's opinions. Now that I have become a member there were some things that have bothered me and wanted to get off my chest. I really like to have fun and razz people also. Now that I've gotten the things off my chest I will relax and not sound so much like a hard case. I really enjoy high school sports and the competitiveness and heart of the kids. Thanks for welcoming to the site and look forward to great conversations with everyone.
  22. My apologies for not being completely spot on with my comments for you. I also believe that they do get the benefit of calls or non calls in the regionals. Because of their success officials know of them more and seem to give them the benefit of doubt more. Just my observations and opinion. I know a lot of people do not agree with me and my theory.
