  1. Come on LB. Your not suppose to give out the injury report......Lol!!!!
  2. Plus it's difficult to sit for a whole game after eating skyline. If you know what I mean....Lol!!!!
  3. If you think Mason is too low then the 10th must really be down this year. Saw them at Campbell County this summer and was not impressed at all by them. I know it was only summer and a lot can change, but did not see any stand out players for them.
  4. Me too. Just thought that I would get it started for the first home game.
  5. Agreed....last year they had several skilled players to make this offense work in spite of itself. There is no way you can win on a year in year out basis with this offense. These coaches need to go to some offensive coaching clinics and implement somethings new. Again, good luck to Nelson. 11 on 1 cannot be much fun every Friday night.
  6. Cooper by 14. Heard they are getting the hoses out to get the field ready for Coopers style of play.
  7. Scott will never beat the top teams consistently with that pathetic Red Grange offense. Feel sorry for Nelson Perrin. Hope he makes it through the season in one piece.
  8. What is your take on the platoon system at Cooper this year to give some of the guys a breather. I haven't heard too much about it on here the last several years since the program has started to flourish. Now that everyone thinks the dam is breaking loose after one loss because some players were gassed the rumblings of platooning have started. In my opinion Cooper and Conner just do not have the overall talent to develop depth year in and year out right now to have adequate back ups at each position. What do you think?
  9. Here we go with the griping that Borchers should play more kids or platoon more. Don't people realize that just because you have a certain amount of kids on your team doesn't equate that little Johnny on the sidelines is ready or should be playing. I'm sure if Borchers and the coaching staff had confidence in the other kids on the sidelines that they would be in the game. Special teams is a huge part in high school football and any let down in them can cost you a game. I would rather have a somewhat tired experienced player on the field than a kid that you don't know what you are going to get when they are out there. Also 6A football in NKY is not like 6A in Louisville and Lexington. Not enough overall talent in NKY to platoon. SK is the only NKY 6a school that can platoon on a year in year out basis. Ryle is getting there, but Conner and Cooper may never get there. Again, Borchers and his staff see every kid in practice every day. I'm sure if they had confidence that they could contribute and get the job done without a significant drop off that they would be out there.
  10. If I'm not mistaken Tre King is re-classifying and attending Hargrave Military Academy this year.
  11. Yeah, sometimes as a freshman in their first training camp it can feel like a job you don't like. A lot of times it gets easier and you feel more comfortable once you give it a chance.
  12. Were you on a full ride scholarship? If not I can see why it would make it an easier decision to hang it up.
  13. I don't consider Dillon a quitter because I do not know all of the circumstances involved in his decision to leave. He also displayed his discipline and work ethic on Friday nights and is a great kid which is the most important thing. In college it takes some kids more time to acclimate them selves athletically, socially, and educationally. Some times kids make irrational decisions when things start getting a little tough or homesick and need a good support system to help them get through it. The main thing is that I hope he is at peace with his decision and that he is successful with whatever he chooses.
  14. Not on the young mans back. Was just saying that some parents make it way too easy for kids to quit things without giving it a fair shake.
  15. My only point is that parents shouldn't make it so easy for their kid to quit and come home especially their first month of camp as a freshman. For some kids that first camp is an initial shock to their system. It isn't going to hurt a kid to get a little tough love from their parents and encouragement to give it a fair shot. I just don't care for parents that as soon as their kid cries about wanting to come home that they jump right in their cars to pick them up. So what if the kid has to go through a little adversity. It will just make them a stronger person in life.
  16. Hate when kids are in high school or just out and are whooped by a girl friend or boy friend. But, I guess we all have to live and learn in life.
  17. Most kids don't realize the mental grind it takes to play college football at any college level. Especially when you are away from home. Not saying that this is the case, but so many parents pamper their kids way to much these days. Sometimes parents need to just say no to their kids when they want to bag it and come home. Make them stick it out for a while. More times than not things start to work out once they get better acclimated to it and helps them grow up. Again, don't know if this is the case but just stating my opinion on these soft parents that do not make their kids stick things out For a while.
  18. Ship them back to their own country and let them swim in the sand together.
  19. Ethan definitely has the potential to be a great player. I will hold off judgement of him being D-2 ready right now until I see him play this year. Has to work on his outside shot. He may be able to play 2 guard in high school against inferior completion but not against high level summer ball competition.
  20. I know that I would never want him to be my host if I was on a recruiting visit.
  21. I love the one and done players in high school hoops.....Lol!!!
  22. What other 2017 players in the 9th region besides CVH have D1 offers?
