Don't know details but believe Conner still had 10 hits in game. Girls put the ball in play and forced Boone to make plays

Noelle Butts NKY Coaches Association Player of the year

From what I have heard about her, they should make another award for her. Teammate of the year! Great job -
No matter the scenario, if all teams in the region do not play each other, there will always be a complaint on doing the draw. Can't remember a year when two deserving teams did not make the finals in regionals. Bottom line you have to win. This year we have several teams that are evenly matched, so should be some great games. Good luck to everyone

NDA has the toughest draw for a number one seed. Glad to see Conner and NDA at opposite ends of the bracket
-
Ryle was winning 1-0 and Conner scored 3 runs in top of 7th to go up 3-1 Ryle put together a few hits to make the score 3-2 with runners on first and second and then Maines threw out runner at plate to end game

I believe Boone will win this game, but would not be surprised if Cooper won the game. Cooper will need a good showing by their pitcher Carson and some defense to help. They beat a good St. Henry team this year with defense and pitching. St. Henry's hitters were off balance all game. I believe St. Henry also beat Boone recently. Good luck to both teams.

Again maybe you should read my entire post and not pick out the small pieces that you might not agree with. In my opinion Ali crupper was the better choice at pitching. Also I made reference that without question your kid is a great player and makes ND a stronger team. I also feel that Hailey playing SS gave Ryle the best opportunity to win. And yes she played that position great as expected. So again in my opinion on Ali being the better option at the pitching position, no apology here.

Maybe you should have read my post. I never said a bad thing about anyone and offered congrats to Ali which I fell she deserves. This was not a dig on anyone.

Turn the program around? I know that several girls were crying after the game. Not because they lost but because they lost a coach they believed in. Those that did not want to be a part of the program have left. Also, Ali Crupper pitched an amazing game and should be very proud. No doubt best pitcher at Ryle last two years. Great job Ali!

Maybe the rumors are not true and Ryle wants to continue to have a solid program.

If I read this right and there is a three way tie, it looks like it will be a draw, but is from 2007 http://khsaa.org/httpdocs/fastpitchsoftball/districtseedingplans/District33.pdf

I am also surprised that their offense has not put up better numbers. I believe they have a lot of young talent that performed better at the plate last year.

NDA plays Conner today depending on rain, what are your thoughts?

Ryle has no reason to pad their score book. -
Yes, most definitely a big win. Not sure who pitched for ND, but with Walton's struggles in Region 8, this is morale booster. Congrats
-
You are right all of those teams should be a good test.
-
Your right, Lakota east, Troy, and Seton should test them
-
No, but putting good teams from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Ohio on your schedule will definitely push your team to improve, not to mention playing teams from southern kentucky, such as Estill county and Oldham county teams are always tough match ups. All teams have some easy games, but just making reference to testing your team. Ryle is a team that does this each year, and look what it does for them. Ryle might not have all the wins you would expect, but at the end of the year they are ready for districts, Regionals, and State playoffs.

ND is a very strong team, but would like to see a tougher schedule this year with the talent they have on their team. I just like to see good teams play teams that will push them to get even better.

yeh, 64-2 run differential against Holmes, Cooper, and Beechwood
-
I have not either, but being ejected for throwing a closed fisted backhand to a player makes sense.

Yes, this was just a scrimmage. Conner put new players in every inning and rotated players in several positions. I believe Conner and highlands are in the same pool. Very interested to see the outcome when it counts. Can't wait to watch some competitive softball. Also want to see Christian academy play this year. They were strong last year.
