Bluegrasspreps.com is giving you a chance to show off your football knowledge statewide! The Bluegrasspreps Regional Pick 'em gives you a chance to pick games in different parts of the state for prizes EACH WEEK. There will be five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- NKY, EKY, Lexington/Central Ky, Louisville, and WKY. Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1. The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with. The second tiebreaker is time. This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish. At the end of the regular season, the top two finishers in each region will compete during the playoffs for statewide bragging rights on Bluegrasspreps. If a contestant qualifies in more than one region, then the highest point total statewide from a non-qualifying contestant will advance as a Wild Card. The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will receive a quality prize. Contest Prizes for the 2018-2019 School Year The overall state winner after the playoffs will get a grand prize custom made for you. The deadline for all entries is 5 p.m. (ET) Friday. Be sure to post your winners and assign each of them one of the following point values (7-5-3-2-1) based on how strongly you feel that that team will win. What is the deal with Jenkins? The season is less than a month away, and according to Jenkins schedule (KHSAA Scoreboard), only got 5 games on there. Are they going to field a team or what? Any word on a coach?

Congrats Misty. She has a son that'll be in 8th grade this year. He is a really good basketball player, I wonder if will be going to Breathitt Co in high schoool. It would be a huge for John Nobles program.

He was a senior, he had no other choice to leave.He graudated and if I'm not mistaking, he was named valedictorian. Cordia School shut building was down this past school year, but was still a school as a whole in a different building in Knott Co.

Cam Jones, committed to Cincy already but has offers from WKU, EKU, Middle TN State, and a few other schools. I'm ready to see what he can do against some stiffer competition at FDHS. The kid has a super strong arm.

McCracken 5-2

St X has nice ball club, but I wouldn’t be so sure of yourself. Even if they get past Hazard, McCracken or Highlanda neither are a slouch. McCracken County is my pick to win State.
