42 in Florence / Union is a little dicey. Two wrecks between Dream Street and Ryle. Roads completely untreated, which is shocking not at all. Cincinnati was laying brine down on Thursday and Friday, NKY untouched.

Brennan Hall played very well tonight, I'm such a fan of that kid. Ruthsatz can really stroke it when his feet are set. CJ is a different animal. Just is. All 3 levels. If you ever wondered, "how is he so highly recruited", watch tonight's game. Just a different level of player, on both ends, than other kids. Really spectacular to watch.

I liked Gray early with the big kid in the post, the St Henry kid on the wing, and the super quick point with blonde hair.

I think you can eliminate the "maybe" before Bryan Station, they can be really, really good. Those 5 teams are all capable of winning many of the 16 regions, but I agree with you that Scott County is the team to beat.

Lucky hunch, but kudos to Coach Faust for pulling the trigger. Can't imagine Kaiser is too far behind. That trio will win a lot of games over the next 3+ years.

So he will miss Friday's CovCath game? Ouch. That not only really hurts the Breds, it also makes that game a little less entertaining. He and Jake have had some interesting battles, notably that JV Championship two years ago.

Just to clarify -- I was being flippant about how he looks. I have no idea whether or not he is a hold-back, and I wasn't alleging that he was, just that he has a very different look (both physically, and skill-wise) than nearly every other 7th grader I've seen. He is a fantastic 7th grade basketball player, that I can tell you.

CCMS 7th has a kid who looks like a sophomore. Biggest kid, handles the ball, goes to the hole like a freight train, and has a very mature game.

Frosh by 8, JV by 3. Both CovCath. The JV game was outstanding!!! St Henry's young guys are very nice. Vieth, the FROSH, has 6 here in the varsity game.
