Nebraska is a long way from "BACK", but I will say that I can't recall a time that Husker fans were more excited than we are right now. I think the Huskers get 6-7 wins next year and make some putrid bowl game. A step in the right direction.

While there are 3 other really good games today as well being played out at Valley in the LIT, in my mind, the game of the day will be Ballard and Butler. Does Butler, coming off a marathon vs. St. Xavier, have anything left in the tank for Ballard and their relentless pressure?

Shocked to see this score out of Lexington, especially given that the Top 10 Knights were the home team. Anyone have details?

Didn't see this one posted, but thought it deserved a thread as well. Top 10 Pulaski County seemed to have no problem with Somerset, who entered the game with a gaudy 15-2 record.

They are playing better now than they were early in the year, but that 1-5 start against good (not great) teams can't be ignored.

You COULD have #1 vs #2 in Louisville, and you will have #3 at #6 in Lexington, and #4 vs #5 in Northern Kentucky. Sign me up for those! What a weekend for high school hoops in the Commonwealth.

If the Buckeyes can win at Northwestern next week, they could run off a LOT of wins before going to Purdue on 2/7.

Heck yes. He, and they, have been very impressive this year. Bates-Diop and Jackson have been great, without a doubt. I think at this point, if they aren't a tourney team, things will have gone horribly wrong from this point forward.
