Heard a new rumor tonight while picking up the boy from practice. "Death Valley" supposely will be turned into an indoor practice area including new home and visitor locker rooms. Sounds like a lot of $$$ and far fetched. Just repeating what I heard.

Old scoreboard is down. It appears the new scoreboard will be in the same endzone but behind the far fence in the trees/woods. Crews are in the woods taking out large trees to fit it in. There are 3 30 foot steel beams onsite that appear to be ready to be installed. Clock is ticking...

It's interesting that they have Weinrich as a co-head coach not assistant head coach. Did his title change this year?

Unfortunately no. Big kid, very quick but I *think* the amount of work/sacrifice was to much. IMO.

Heard through my sources that last nights practice was the first time full pads. There was also a *lot* of sprints involved. Any news on the front runner for QB?

At what "grade" do they finally lock in what side of the ball you will play? Soph. year? Are there late night discussions who goes where?

I see what you are getting at however heat is heat. The body needs to cool down and needs water. Are you saying someone from Flordia will take longer to overheat (104 degrees) than someone from KY?

Need to get punting straighten out this year. With this schedule they can't have 20-30 yard kicks as in years past.

I kind of feel bad for this kid already. (Not much, a little) If he doesn't throw for 3,000 yards, score 30 TD and 10 INT he going to be considered a lost season. Not by CovCath folks but others watching his every move.

Stopped by today saw the new pressbox going in. Appears to be the same width and length. Old scoreboard was still there however. Also appears to be major fixes to the scoreboard end of the field.

Does spring football and 7-on-7 count? Seems like in a couple of football programs kids aren't playing other sports to ensure that the participate during the spring football.

I think Birdbath is saying that four years goes by very quickly. Every year is a new challenge and you can't judge a team from the previous year. That's what makes this fun.

There are 4 QB's trying out for the Freshman. Luke Myer seems to be the front runner. (According to my sources. Haven't seen any of them practice.)

Should be an interesting year. There are some good players listed on the first couple pages of the thread plus some new faces as well. Right now I don't think there are any superstars but that could change as the year goes on. A lot of tough, fast kids.

It only has games not scrimmages listed. The practice schedule does have Trinity listed as Away game.

It's on my Frig at home but I'm 3,000+ miles away on vacation. However, I do remember they kick off with Campbell County August 29th. Most of the usual suspects are on the schedule.
