Do you know Coach Lewis? Coach Cofer? If you are so connected and have these connections and are so concerned- have you gone and offered to help? Or just sat back give advice on the message board. i don't doubt your connections with the players and community. There is no doubt that we disagree.. I promise you that because if I had an issue with the program I would go the person not come on here and attack it. Cuz a person as connected as you would want to build up these programs.

You have your sights on bashing coaches while you sit in the stands. You did the same thing in football season for the John Hardin football team. Yes I do know bout what happened today.. and what happened yesterday. I just don't discuss it because I don't see how that has to do with Cofer. You said that Jackson and Young miss days of practice at a time.. which is false.. you don't have a clue what really goes on at NHHS. You get your info from a John Hardin person/player I am sure. But unless you know the facts don't come bashing the coaches. I won't speak on the choices or decisions of the players- but don't see how that is a lack of control by the head coach

Cofer hasn't lost control of this team. The players who Dognation mentioned haven't missed practiced days at a time. I like how you bash coaches on this forum. First you bash the John Hardin football coach and now it seems you have your sights on Cofer. You have no clue on either one of these men at all. If you think you could do better, or help them out- go join them on the sideline, instead of staying in the stands and criticizing them. That's the easy way out.

OC is loaded!! John Edge is ready to take them to state! They will have the scoreboard working this year and be ready cuz Edge will make people mad by scoring a lot of points. State bound.

I think it had an impact. First game without him if I am not mistaken. Coach Brewer will have this team ready to go come tourney time

He was injured in the previous game. He was not dressed against North. He had a patch on his eye. I am not sure to the extent of his injury but just knew they were without him.

North played a good game and Bardstown is trying to find their way without one of their key players.. It was an 8 point game at the half

I would say the family gets tired of moving. And it gets to a point where their voice outweighs the coach's voice and something has to change..

There are some names out there.. but I think most are being quiet about it.

I would say that game was one of the best games and atmospheres I have witnessed. Dog nation- I think you said it best- they just came up short. Pearson took his game to a different level last night in my eyes. Even with 4 fouls, he was able to be a force.

I agree that to play at the next level at his height he needs to be able to shoot the 3. It just seems at times when it wasn't falling, he wouldn't take his game closer to the basket. And what does the team need him to do? With his skills, he would be tough to guard if he were down low and then pop out to the 3. To many times high school players are thinking bout the college scholarship rather than doing what is best for his team. I am sure this young man plays enough AAU bball games to show his overall skills for these wonderful recruiters. I am excited to see him for another year and how he will dominate the competition.

That is a nice win for John. It seems that Pearson has finally hit his stride too. Which is inside near the basket rather than shooting the 3. John is one of if not the hottest teams in the 5th. Didn't they have some team turmoil with the Knox game and the coach sat down the starters for over half of the game?

Biggest difference.. Boosters pay in other states and in Kentucky they are not allowed to pay

Let's see.. $75,000 is nice but that doesn't compare to what he will be doing or making in Georgia. Harry said it best- if you have not lived it or know somebody who did then you truly have no idea. And you can add to the fact that Camden County is a top tier team so he will be paid well above others. And he will be focused solely on football and winning in his job.

I think this district is going to be a battle til the end. Don't go by the first game around

Sounds good to me.. Didn't mean to hit a sensitive spot here. Just felt Pearson played timid and settled for jumpers rather than taking the ball inside at Hobbs. But I do think John will be fine

Agree that John will be fine. But I have to say in second half Pearson was scared/timid to go at Hobbs. Maybe you can help him for the second roind game.

I think Hobbs looked dominate in second half and Pearson played either scared or shell shocked by Hobbs play. I have no doubt Pearson has faced better but it seems Pearson didn't want to take the ball inside to Hobbs either when Pearson's shot wasn't falling. I think if Pearson begins the inside and outside game he will become unstoppable. Pearson has to quit trying to shoot the 3.

Will be a tough game for Etown. Playing at Central adds to it.. But as said before-- not many outside of the Etown locker room believed in them when they were sitting at 2-3 after loss to Bardstown

Having seen both teams this season-- this game is a toss up. The JH Qb play has been the difference in this team. He is completing 75% of his passes over the last 3-4 games and his ability to run ball adds another threat. FS has speed all over the field. Their Qb has been able to do a great job as well in big games. As most games-- turnovers will be the key. Playing a game at John Hardin in the playoffs is TOUGH...

Guess the coaches made adjustments??
