What does Owensboro Catholic need to do to improve in 2017? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

The Aces will be loaded, great young QB and stud RB come to immediate mind. Might be good enough to win out. Just to get to BG they would face the Trio of CAL, MF & DS only to have to face a equally challenging foe.

It's tough for all four( MF, OC, DeSales, and CAL) I say in Region 1 the favorite is still MF and Region 2 CAL. But it's fair to say DeSales and OC could play in the semis as well.

OC is loaded!! John Edge is ready to take them to state! They will have the scoreboard working this year and be ready cuz Edge will make people mad by scoring a lot of points. State bound.

They have some good players coming back for sure. I would like to see Von Williams and Nick Mills play more defense. I think both of them playing D later in the year really helped.

I like what I hear is coming back from OC faithful. I watch tons of games in this half of state, no disrespect to any other kids, but give me the 4 sophomore playmakers that live in Owensboro and i like my chances. If theres a better duo at QB and RB in state other than Will Warren and Von Williams returning I'd like to meet them. Excellent possession receiver with speed in Nick Mills (think Julian Edelman) My other playmakers is not at OC but DC. The Tinsley kid there can hurt you in multiple ways, if he was at a school like OC he may put up even bigger numbers.

They will be good for sure. But I think their concern is their OL.

I heard that several new kids are coming out. Any truth to that? A few seniors. Thanks for any response

I think OB Cath. will be the team to beat in Region 1.. Mayfield loses a lot, but, will still be a tough out, especially with home field advantage, but, I think the Aces may have a little more overall talent returning..

With a QB like 6-3 220 pound Will Warren and a talented RB like,Von Williams, 6-1-185 there is a lot to be excited about on offense.

Nick Mills should better his 37 catches and 566 yards should only add to the offensive power this unit has.

Line play will be a huge factor in how well this teams does?

What does rest of receiving corps look like? How is the line going to be? From what I hear NewarkCatholic Fan is accurate...No worries at Qb or RB or Mills, lots of question marks in other places.

Williams is a player.

Warren will be much improved with another year under his belt.

The only knock on OC from what I have seen is usually they have a couple tackling machines on Defense and I dont really see that.

I think their strength is QB-WR-RB on O.

Warren, Williams, Hamilton, Mills, Gray, and Todd will score some points. If Warren can be mobile. He can be the next team Nintendo QB.

DL-LB-OLB on D. Nick Blair coming back this year at LB is making this D better. He had 124 tackles his sophomore year. Oh yea the Boarman kid was playing right next to him. Big pickup for OC.

I think this can be a great year for OC.
