Who do you think wins and why?

2 coaches who know how to win. I'm sure that E-Town much improved from earlier this year, but the line and athletes for Central just too much.

I thought there might be more talk about this game. I haven't seen either team play this year nor do I know much about either team. Can Etown pull this one off ? I know going to Central can be near impossible. I would think getting over the "intimidation" factor is over half the battle when playing Central. Good luck to both teams. Semi finals is a big accomplishment.

Well after what I said in a previous post. I will have to go with Central in this game.

Etown will definitely have it's hands full. I will say this, these kids have no quit in them. After starting the season 2-3 they have reeled off 8 straight wins in pretty dominating fashion. To get this win they will have to play a nearly perfect game and get a little help from Central in the turnover dept. The good news for Etown is that no one except those inside the program expected them to be here. Only 3 of their starters are Seniors. The Junior class is loaded and they have a freshman group that went to the final four as 8th graders and their current 8th grade group just won the state championship. Whatever happens on Friday night the Panthers have a bright future.

What kind of size does Central have up front?

They have good size they're not Belfry big but better than average size the thing that makes Central so good is they're very athletic and fast even their lineman are really quick they are also a pretty disciplined team that's not going to beat themselves there's nothing flashy about them they just play good football in all phases of the game.

In other words typical Ty Scroggins team

Will be a tough game for Etown. Playing at Central adds to it.. But as said before-- not many outside of the Etown locker room believed in them when they were sitting at 2-3 after loss to Bardstown

Etown is a very good team that has improved drastically from the beginning of the season, but they are now facing the team that is probably better than anyone in the state at peaking in the playoffs.

I think Etown will get their punches in, but look for Central to win.

Central Big. Etown has no business in the state semis with the kind of talent they have this year. That said, kudos to the panthers for the drastic improvement they've shown. Good luck to all! Its an honor to even be playing on Thanksgiving weekend!
