Yep.....nice to see in print, but curious not to see any west coast teams.....regionalized?

Updated as of today........Covington Catholic moves to #5 Nationally Covington Catholic Soccer Rankings | MaxPreps

Thanks All......I know it is a soccer player, but I purposely put it in the Football thread for the football group.......not sure why it was moved......

Thanks......:thumb:

I wasn't sure about doing it Cat....... PS...thanks for your nice words of congrats to the boys over on the Soccer thread. Thanks to you and everyone else that did it !!

Wasn't sure how to title this..... A Colonel soccer player is up for the player of the week, but voting is close..... If you could take a minute and click here, then scroll down to the NKY nominees and vote for Jacob Litzler, it would be greatly appreciated: Home All nominees are worthy, but helping to bring the first NKY State Soccer Championship home is pretty special...... You can vote each day. Thanks and go Colonels, bring home the State Football hardware ...... OTB.

CCH won the first Ky state soccer state championship for a NKY team on Saturday........Ryan Massie.....a member of the Colonels basketball team, is also a starter on the soccer team..... Congrats Ryan and make it ring number 3 this Spring !!!

CCH Soccer won NKY's first state championship....3-0 over Henry Clay....... ......and YES, it does have a football connection......Matthew Kloska, CCH place kicker is also a member of the Soccer team....... Congrats Matt....make it two rings this fall !

OTB has a CCH t shirt....unwashed since the start of the Regions, that will be handed down to a well deserving Junior Soccer Parent to wear for next years run at the repeat........please do not sit down wind and judge ...... PS.....calling out D1Son.....you posted earlier that CCH would not go deep because they would choke like in years past.......I've got a "like" ready and waiting for your congratulation post.

I'm giving away "likes" as if they were candy on Halloween .......keep them coming

PS....If you want to go see the hardware from last night, CCH has an open house today....... ......and to whomever decided to deface the Open House signs and steal the good luck soccer balls with the players name on them while the were at the game......you are welcome also....we will start your tour in the confessional....

Not an official count, but CCH may have had more fans show up at the Bru Burger Bar before the game, than HC had in the stands......next time we have to negotiate a kick back......over 300 arrived for burgers and "soda." .....and that was just one restaurant. Also a special thanks to the Ft. Wright Police who gave the bus the escort out to the expressway and then met it on the way back and gave it the full siren and light escort ! Pretty cool. CCH Community and NKY Soccer Community ROCKS !!!!

Nope......HC beat BG........

Thanks to the fans that came to support the Colonels. We had to have 3 to 1 in fan total and they were 4 miles away and have 2300 students to the colonels 600. I'm proud to be part of the CCH community.

⚽️. Told ya. A win against CCH is the sAme as a win against Germany Congrats guys. You made us proud

Bru burger bar. 3010 lakecrest circle. Lexington. Expect a nice place. Good food and slow service with an attitude, but we went there before last game so tradition.

Yep......from someone who was in their position in 1983 and fell short by a PK, give it your all, for every step that you take on the field.....full speed, full effort, and leave it all out there........at this point, both teams are equal.....who wants it more? Nothing else matters except 80 minutes on Saturday.....practice today and come into tomorrow's game with that attitude and take it. Good luck to both teams, but just a hair better luck to the Colonels.......

2014 CCH was better than 2014 Scott.......proved it on the field. 2014 Scott made the better run though..... As for 2014 CCH vs 2015 CCH.....15 s defense is much better, allowing MW to play midfield....if that would have happened in 14 and Wessels would have joined Day, Kenney, Lilly and Schuh, with Litzler and Ballow up top......it would have been tough to beat.... .....but "could ofs and would ofs" don't count

Don't forget about PC......inclusiveness.....let's try to get one kid from each team when possible......instead of looking at player performance only

Excellent point....

But that isn't guaranteed......with the algorithm, does winning it all really move you to the top....assume CCH wins Saturday....The last time they beat the number 1 team, it moved them up 1 spot to 4........so winning it all and beating the current maher number 1 could move them to the 3rd spot......if history repeats

Told you.....Catholic wins

She is everywhere, Fokker

I usually find the ladies to be more critical than the fellas

I forgot you are late to the party.....sorry..... Be careful....NCC has had some nefarious, but very entertaining representatives on here this year.....So you may have heard the ramblings of those folks.....
