If Elder beats Highlands, that will have no impact on them winning another state title.. No other 4A team in KY can play with them..

What is hard to understand about the words "easy" and "yes"? Highlands will have yet another undefeated season, I will say their toughest challenge will be Covington Catholic, however I still take Highlands in this one by 14.

Highlands will easily repeat, or 6-peat, (however you want to classify it) as state champs. I see them winning a few more before they loose one. There are some very good 5A schools, and contenders for a title in NKY as well. As for the other classes, I'd say average at best.

If Holmes can focus, and not hang their heads if they go down a score or two, they can be a dangerous team. They have speed at the skill position, and some very big lineman. I was surprised when I heard the score of the Holmes/Beechwood game. I picked against them if that one, I won't make that mistake again. I'll take Holmes in this one. SK has the size, Holmes has the speed, and as we all know speed kills.

It's been a long time since I've seen Conner's field, or any field for that matter look as bad as Cooper's did last year. It doesn't help that Cooper's field sits down at the bottom of that hill, not very conducive for drainage. I can't believe that when building that school brand new, the county wouldn't have invested in turf, and a better parking system. Oh well, what can you do?

Holmes is nowhere near the caliber team of Conner/Cooper. If they make this list, they arent even close to either of these two teams. In my opinion Beechwood, NCC, or HC do not belong on the list.

A not so good team? This comment coming from the guy who, in the prediction thread, said that HC would blow Conner out? Not standing behind your predictions I see... Holy Cross will bounce back, they have some athletic players in skill positions, they have potential to be a strong team. They will do fine in 2A. I don't see any Conner fans on here "bragging" about beating HC. All I see is people posting stats to prove points, nothing more, nothing less. The boys in Hebron have already focused all of their attention on Dixie.

Here comes this guy with the personal digs, I knew it wouldn't take long. Tell us, how bad would SK beat conner if they would have played tonight? Barker was 4/10 passing, so what? How many did he run for? Like what was posted above, when a team has close to 500 rushing, there isn't a need to throw the ball. And I'd venture to say if Barker were 0/10 passing, but the team wins, he'd take it. From listening to the various interviews and reading numerous articles, I've gathered that's the type of players Conner has, unselfish.

Please proofread before posting. Not trying to be mean, but your stuff is hard to read buddy And as far as the cheap shot comment.. The officials didn't call a single personal foul on Conner tonight, so I doubt that was going on. As a matter of fact the only personal foul I can remember was on HC

I think Conner will HANDLE Cooper's speed just fine.

HC scored twice in the first string on two blown coverages, then once more when the jv was in. I don't care what anyone says, when a team can score 36 points in a 9 minute stretch, they are dangerous. Cooper Vs Conner will be a good game, but I don't see Cooper being able to score with the cougars.

Conner will get handled? I don't see the logic in this. Cooper and conner have both played a common opponent in Boone County and HC. Cooper scored 10 on Boone, conner scored 31. Sure Cooper shut Boone out. They only scored 19 on conner. Cooper scored 49 on holy cross, conner put up 67 with the starters coming out in the third quarter. The Cougar offense is highly explosive, can score on any play. Weren't all the doubters saying that holy cross would play with conner tonight? What happened to that?

Conner is starting to pull the starters with 3 minutes to go in the third quarter.

Just had another 40 yard Barker to Fogle strike called back on illegal man down field. Conner scores four plays later on a Quinn Campbell run up the middle. 50-14 cougars
