Clyde, my guess would be this is what the ump used for justification in that scenario since someone stated above both teams had been warned.... Rule 3-3-1n addresses revised penalties for initiating malicious contact on offense or defense. Transgressions will now result in the ball being immediately dead, and if on offense, the player is ejected and declared out, unless he has already scored. If the defense commits the malicious contact, the player is ejected; the umpire shall rule either safe or out on the play and award the runner(s) the appropriate base(s) he felt they would have obtained if the malicious contact had not occurred.

UNLESS the player has the ball in hand it is Obstruction! There is no grey area in High School its just not called correctly very often. Not sure about basketball, but I would thinks its close to the same Baseball he gets $5 per game he schedules so if a team schedules 20 home games the gets $100 say he gets 30+ teams for the summer that's a whopping $3,000 for the summer. maybe a little more maybe a little less... Not even close to 6 figures, maybe 10k+ a year for a whole lot of after hours work. I would hate to think how much per/hr that equates to....... So back on topic is he in or out?

6th Grade boys Holmes and Gray are in a class by themselves no one even a close 2nd. Holmes great Coaching, Gray plays 17 kids and still wins by double digits.... I would hate to face only their top 7 or 8 it would be ugly for the opposition.

Not sure which side of this I fall, but some years back I remember Boone Co's Fookes, did everything she could to keep a Ryle Senior from reaching that milestone.
