JV Regional Tournament

Anyone have a clue how it works. Is there a bracket or website? Is it just a random secret event?

Not sure but favorites have to be Holmes and Scott. Outright best in the area

It always seems like chaos in the early rounds. Sometimes a regular in season game counts as an early round of the "jv tournament".

St.Henry plays Cov Cath today at 5:30? in the tournament at CCH.

I know Conner beat Dixie and Ryle has beat Beechwood and Highlands. Boone plays Bellvue. Holmes plays New Cath. That's the only ones I know of.

Most unorganized thing I have ever seen and really meaningless IMO except for the fact that the kids get to play more games.

Scott plays @SK tomorrow night. They have played once already @SK which seen Scott erase a 12 point halftime deficit to win by 3!

Scott is 8-2, with both losses to Holmes. They have beat Ryle, Boone Co, Mason Co, Harrison Co., Calvary, Simon Kenton, Dixie, & Pendleton Co.

So I take that to mean it is double triple secret matchups pulled from someone's rear end?

Not to anyone in particular I don't really care how individual season are doing just looking for tournament schedule and and updates from the tournament. Feel free to start your own thread on whatever you feel worth sharing.

"Outright"? CovCath beat Holmes.

"Outright"? CovCath beat Holmes.

To favor Scott you would have to add New Cath and Cov Cath in this would you agree? Not sure about Cov Cath, but New Cath has beaten Scott twice this year.

CCH beat Scott in the pre-season. NCC spanked CCH in a regular season game. Both Scott and NCC have juniors playing.

Who cares. It's called JUNIOR varsity for a reason. It is not illegal to play juniors and can only help the younger kids get better. If the juniors played significant minutes with the varsity and then came down, that might be one thing but I doubt this is the case. I am assuming your son must play jv ball since you know the outcomes of these games. Would you rather he play against lesser competition? Will that help him in the long run?

NewCath and Scott have not played at the JV level.

Scott has 9 Seniors and 8 Juniors. Got to play them somewhere.

I don't have any skin in the game yet. It was just a statement of fact. You took it to another direction and you seem to be bitter about it. Many JV teams play only sophmores and the smaller schools have to play juniors. Another statement of facts.
