This is not just based on this tourney. This is the universal rule with tie breakers not just Peach Jam. This pool had a VERY unique situation. There are bad teams in other tourneys which is why I used the parenthesis.

The way Nike did the tie breaker is the correct way to work the point differential tie breaker. You do not include the non teams in tie breakers. It prevents rewarding running up the scores on "bad" teams. The Travelers had a great season on the circuit and hopefully they continue it this week at the super showcase. They have a chance to make a deep run in this tourney, but its a loaded field. I am looking forward to watching them again this week.

Where does this team play in July? I remember Kunstek played for a pretty good Club Ohio team in Cincinnati last season. It would be nice to track how he has been doing.

Tourneys are basically fund raisers. If teams came and paid money to participate, it did its job.

The Nike teams had to go to the Nike Qualifiers 16U and EYBL Session 1 17U to try to earn an invite to the Peach Jam in July. If the Eagles tourney was not a qualifier, they are not allowed to attend.

To be honest, I would imagine the player getting taken down would expect some type of retaliation from opposing players by playing that way. From both videos, it looks like he is trying to get the reaction he got in the first video.

Most Nike programs go through this. It sounds like its a contract year for them. They are sponsored by Nike this year and if things go well the contract will be renewed. There are a lot of teams in their contract year this year around the country.

He is moving back to NC, but he isn't officially enrolled at Carmel yet. He is definitely playing with CP3 though.

As you prob already have heard, Long might not be playing with them this year.

Once School ball ends, every weekend has something AAU related. Having it during the weekend it is probably is the best possible weekend because there aren't any meaningful AAU events in the area until late April. IMO, the Bearcat classic is a good local tourney for teams to get experience, but its definitely not a tourney to change the date for.

To be honest, getting an at large has been available to anyone for years. AAU doesn't reject anyone that wants to go to nationals.
