EYBL Kentucky Travelers 17U Roster

Featured Replies

As of right now, the roster will look like this at the 17U level:

2015 5'11 James Bolden (Holmes)

2016 5'11 Braxton Beverly (Perry Co Central)

2015 6'2 Camron Justice (Knott Co Central)

2016 6'5 Carson Williams (Owen Co)

2015 6'7 Drew McDonald (Newcath)

2016 6'7 Derrick Daniels (Thurgood Marshall Dayton, OH)

2015 6'9 Ray Spalding (Trinity)

2015 7'0 Raekwon Long ( Scott Co)

I didn't include Jalen Perry of Ballard cause I'm not sure if he will play 17 or 16U.

Either way, pretty solid roster so far. Will be tough in the EYBL.

Getting Derrick Daniels from King James Shooting Stars is a great get for the Travelers program. Kid can play.

I believe Perry is in the 2015 class at Ballard. He would have to play U17. Am I Correct?

That is an impressive roster.

Is this the roster for the upcoming spring season? I'm assuming it is subject to change if so?

Loaded with talent.

Was just talking about Derrick Daniels with a high major coach last week. Loads of potential...

Is UC looking at him? Corey Albertson was telling me the kid is a sure fire high major talent if he continues to improve.

You're right. I get him and Dow mixed up. Dow is a soph, Perry a Jr, so yes he will play 17U.

This team has the potential to be VERY GOOD. Loaded with talent and depth at every position and also have good size.

Walter - solid lineup. Is this your guess or are you in communication with the Travelers?

What about Matt Rose out of LCA?

Not sure about Matt Rose but the others are confirmed by the coaching staff.

Any idea what the U16 team will look like?

I know Kel Stotts of Russell Co will be apart of the team and Peyton Broughton, along with a few other kids from the KY Heat team but not sure of who outside of those two.

Also, Matt Rose will be with the 17U Travelers. Add him and Jalen Perry to the roster listed above. Very solid group

......

Derrick Daniels will not be on that team Walter.

"@EYBLTravelers: Derrick Daniels, Carson Williams (@Cwilli2332), and Raekwon Long for being the newest members of the @EYBLTravelers"

Not doubting you but the coaches seem to think he is/will be.
