Really like Stockwell and his size. Who all did this team play? I know you said they lost all 3, but did they compete? Thanks!

 

I watched 2 of their games, Friday night and late Saturday afternoon, Both games they started slow and came back to take the lead and were in both games to the end(should have won both) but couldnt pull it off,I believe single digit loses, Kunstek played very well and their Guard play was very impressive for the lack of size, Donovan can see the floor as good as anyone Ive watched, he is able to distribute the ball and make plays out of nowhere. There were a lot of missed layups and turnovers down low in both games that seemed like they were just mental mistakes from the post players, This team has a lot of upside and neither Kameron nor Jason Covington played this weekend, I think had either been there they would have been a big help

The 1st and 3rd were the 2 games I watched, they started out down big in both games and climbed right back in them to make them solid fun games to watch.

Where does this team play in July? I remember Kunstek played for a pretty good Club Ohio team in Cincinnati last season. It would be nice to track how he has been doing.

I've been able to watch the 17u a handful of times this spring in Cincinnati and in the state tournament and it I think Kunstek really stands out, Stockwell is solid but he seemed really off his game in the state tournament, With his size and his room for improvement I think the sky is the limit for him and i look forward to seeing him progress and become a dominant post player. Do you know much about these guys? I know there are a handful of kids on this 17u team that also play on the NKY Celtics/Royals 16u team with Rodney Moore, Any word when the 16u or 17u plays next? I really enjoy watching these kids play, win or lose they are always impressive and very talented groups (both 16u and 17u)

I don't know a lot about some of the kids on this roster, but I've been impressed with the Kunstek kid from St. Henry for a couple of years. Kid can play.

Is Kunstek playing in the post? I remember he used to dominate there in middle school, then was working on moving out to the perimeter.... He's always been a really nice player, and has a nice family!

He has been playing both with the Royals from what I've seen, I've chatted with a couple of the parents of kids on this team while seeing them at different tournaments and all are very nice people and supportive of their son's hectic scheduling during AAU.

When our team, Lextown Ballers, played them in the tourney game, the Royals post guy was the player my son, Jeremy, said would be difficult to shut down. Even before the game, Jeremy was complimenting this guys play, saying that he had really good post moves and was deceptively good at scoring from inside. Jeremy has a really good basketball IQ and is usually spot on in his assessments.

I just assumed it was the guy the previous posters were talking about. It was the guy with the big hair.
