No Kleenex needed. I can assure you SK is nothing but a blip on the radar of BW, our sights set on something much bigger. Had BW won, there would not have been any celebration, and I can assure you the BW kids wouldn't have been hanging around 45 minutes after the game still in uniform taking pictures. I will say though, the obsession by you SK folks of our program and community is extremely flattering. I realize you strive to be like us in Independence, but you may want to set your sights on something a little more attainable, like a winning season without Simpson/Lawrence. I will say high to all those great kids you have sent us, keep em coming.

Yep, VMI beat them in a game a couple years ago, but thank god their are kids out there who are smart enough to be part of something special and be part of a program and atmosphere like Beechwood. SK is not a program, one only had to watch how they celebrated after beating a 1A school. You would have thought they had won the state championshop. Of course, at SK, they have no idea how that feels so they have to look for little things to hang their hat on. My guess is that not only will those that have to write those checks gladly do so, but I would say after that debacle, from what I am hearing, there will be some more defectors in the near future from SK. I can assure you there is nobody that bleeds Tiger Red more than Gage Erdman. That's the difference in how the kids are being taught. You learn more about a kid in a loss that you do in a victory. I wouldn't doubt at all he complemented SK on their W, that's how he is. But to think for a second he wishes he plays for that classless program is just absurd.

Granted I am a little biased, but I kind of thought Max Nussbaum would be on that list. Wish it showed the next 25.

Deep at one or two positions, and RB is one of them. Are you begging for another worthless xfer discussion? BW has to play kids both ways, don't have the #s. That said, I have watched some D6 schools platoon just to say they platoon, and that ends up hurting them by watering down the talent. Read that Swanson is not playing O for SK. That, IMO, is really dumb. It's HS, get your best 11 on D and best 11 on O on the field. Doesn't have to play every play both ways, but some at a school lacking in playmakers like SK seems to be the right thing to do.

Better than to have been...How would you describe SK? Take away the brief Miles/Chad era and that program is laughable, and they are once again settling into their rightful place of irrelevancy. You think small schools hurt college opps? I would argue coming from a losing program hurts even more. Couple that with a sub standard academic reputation and it doesn't bode well.

Thanks for clarifying. I think that leaves exactly zero non Ft. Mitchell residents on the current varsity.
