Teams arent set yet, and I honestly cant tell you who is left. As for UK signees/commits, there are only 4 statewide as we speak today. Jared Proctor from Nelson County, Jacob Hamilton from Pikeville, Cameron Schroyak(sp) from South Warren, and Combs from Beechwood, who is done.

So now wait. All you guys spend a lot of time making sure the small school guys understand that the all A is not a real tourney. Disagree completely with out district comments. That would eliminate all private and parochials from the argument. If you go that far, then you should split it in all sports for all championships and have seperate titles in all.

When box scores lie. Per this, the total hits are right but the #s don't add up, not that it's relevant. BW was shut out, so I assume the lines for the runs are the other hits? HHS played very solidly on defense. Great play by 3b in second inning that saved a run and a potential rally. Great play by CF on ball hit into RC gap that would have been a leadoff triple and potential rally. BW looked very flat, made many mistakes. I laugh at "older coach" and his scouting report. Kids have faced plenty of off speed curve balls and hit them, in fact beat Cochran earlier in the year. Plenty of high leg kicks and loads in college baseball and beyond. Kids have bad days. This was one of them.

Boone-Best pitcher in region can't lose two years in a row Conner-Ross too much for CCH BW-Fieger a really good #2 I will pick Conner to win it. No clue who either team throws in this one if it comes to fruition. If Combs was available for BW, my pick would be the Tigers. Now, if it's Stringer and he has an outing where he throws strikes, he is as good as anyone. I realize there is much more to it than pitching, and there could be a lot of 2-1 or 3-2 finishes, but just my thoughts.

So, we all agree pitching will decide. Who are matchups? Rogers vs Heppler? Ostertag vs Seiter Suchanek vs ? Ganns vs King Not sure who CC ace is, or even if they throw him? Cochran for HHS?

IMO very good draw for BW, miserable first rounder for Dixe. They get Ganns, good luck with that. Great draw for Conner too, wont need to burn Ross out of the gate. Gonna be a great day.

No. Not right now. IMO cant have a kid that cant throw strikes consistently in that spot. He has always been a starter, needs the time to warm up. Doesnt do well when rushed to warm up in between innings, and his coach has refused to send out a defensive replacement to allow that. When he throws strikes he is impressive, when not you get what you get.

If I were to rank: 1) Dixie. Best team all year 2) Conner. Best team in best district 3) Cov Cath 4) BW. Now is when losing Combs hurts. 5) Boone 6) HHS. .500 in May, .500 all year. Bad district. 7) St. Henry 8) Bellevue

Are they back at Meinken, or moved to BW? If there is a worse field in the Tri-State than Meinken I have yet to see it. Outfield is a disgrace.

Newport has really struggled. Just by whats been reported on here I think thats 4 times they have been no hit.

Thats what I thought. All aces that pitched Rd 1 of districts will be well rested by Monday. Thats what makes it the best baseball watching day of the year.
