Breds by a lot. I think Lloyd will only score if they can score on Breds second or third team.

I agree they play a very tough schedule year in and year out, although I think they may have been able to play with Highlands maybe last year. That would have been a good game to see.

I don't have a problem with anyone making a prediction, as Clyde said, its what we do. But I do have a problem with disrespecting other schools by indicating that they shouldn't even show up. I believe Assumption or ND will be in the finals too, but anything can happen. That's why they play the games and those other teams have earned that right to play by winning their region. The ND/Assumption game should be a great match and I am looking forward to it.

Something definitely seems off. I thought the previous coach was doing a really nice job with the program.

I am sure they are pretty good, especially if they returned 14 starters, but you have to admit their schedule has been pretty week so far. I guess that happens sometimes. Even though you mention that these teams had a decent record last year they do not seem to be quite as good this year based on their current records. This could definitely hurt Scott County. It sure won't be a good thing come playoff time if you had to pull your starters after the second quarter for most of your games.

I definitely think it is a good thing for everyone. It will really help those kids that don't play other sports or select or AAU sports. But I still think that this is more of an advantage for larger schools who usually do not have as many kids that play 2 or 3 sports, which I think is fine. I also heard that this could help kids practice more with the high school teams and less with teams outside of school, like the select and AAU teams. Any thoughts to that?

I would agree, X should be at #3 and should definitely be ahead of Butler.

I know Boone County lost to Dixie last week by a touchdown, but didn't they beat Male the week before by 2 TDs? Not sure I agree.

AD is Kim Gunning. Anyone have any details on Joe Stevenson, where he is from, experience, etc.? I hope he can continue getting ND turned around and headed in the right direction. Congratulations and good luck to him.

Too bad for CC. He is such a good player and would have really helped them out.

It is my understanding that October 15 is still the date to begin winter sports practices, however, the KHSAA is allowing voluntary practices to begin anytime prior to that date. Coaches are free to do whatever they want but they can not make practice mandatory until 10/15. What is the reasoning of this? I believe it gives the larger schools an advantage because the smaller schools have so many more kids that play 2 or 3 sports.
