I like that rule. It should be implemented in KY for all sports.

Either way I would really like to see ND softball compete with Ryle, Conner, Boone, etc. year in and year out like they do with these other sports. IMO they should be able to, they have over 600 girls enrolled each year.

I agree the team from three years ago was better, not as deep, but better. However, I do think this years team has a couple players that could play D1. Not sure if they have any scholarship offers or not though. Additionally I think Notre Dame and St. Henry are better this year also than they were 3 years ago, IMO.

I agree paNDA and Notre Dame and St. Henry should both be moved up in the poll.

I completely agree. Moss is a great player but they will need a "supporting cast" to help them get back to the Regional Finals and to State. That supporting cast needs to include a couple outside shooters for sure.

Well now I agree with ABC2, a horse put out to pasture can probably do a better job, not really familiar with your grass cutting skills anyway, but its not rocket science. Back to the issue, I think the former coach did a very nice job with the ND fastpitch team and was surprised when I heard he was let go. Good luck to him and to the ND fastpitch program. I hope they find a replacement that is as good as he was. Does anyone know if there has been a coach named yet and if not, does anyone know who they are considering as their next coach?

I heard the Ware girl is a very special player and a point guard. Obviously they will not have the experience they had in the past, but maybe she will be able to contribute this year at the varsity level.

This is horrible news for such a great player. I hope she comes back a lot stronger for her senior year.

I agree it should be another exciting season for the Colonels. But is Pike definitey playing basketball or will his football scholarship prevent him from playing? It will definitely hurt them and be very disappointing if he doesn't play.

Completely agree. The NCC team of 3 years ago was very strong and much better than their current team IMO. This years team may be a little deeper though. Besides being back in the 9th region next year I think their cupboard will be a little bare. Additionally didn't St. Henry just recently beat NCC?
