Here we go again. Its crazy to do a blind draw for district tournaments. They should be seeded. That way the regular season district games actually count for something and teams actually earn their way to the Regional. This should be a state wide rule for all districts, IMO.

I do not agree, and again I have no dog in this fight, but I was at this game. If I recall correctly if it wasn't for a couple crucial turnovers and a missed 4th down conversion, NewCath would have been right in this game. Ryle did run the ball well though. I believe the final score was 27-7 but the game was much closer than the final score indicated.

I just take the quote "by far" as a coach just showing great support for his player, but I understand what you are saying. I would say Towles is the best football player and Brady is the best over all athlete in NKY, IMO.

I have no dog in the fight here, but I think Brady, if not the best football player in NKY, he is definitely one of the best. I think he is the best all around athlete in NKY. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe he will have started varsity for three years in football, baseball and basketball. What other athlete in NKY can say that? Not really sure about any benefits of a Highlands vs NewCath game. I think it would be good to see but if Highlands won a number of these games wouldn't NCC possibly lose some kids to Highlands? I do think NCC would have given Highlands a game last year. They definitely had the size and talent to play with them.
