No different than a lot of the high school games that I see. I see as much bad high school basketball as I do AAU basketball.

I was amazed watching Lexi Held play at Cooper this year. She was mature way beyond her years.

I have no problem with them playing up at the State Tournament. I thought they may be playing to qualify for 10th grade AAU Nationals which is being held in Cincinnati this year.

Great run by the Legacy 8th grade group! Love the way they play. They play transition basketball as well as any team I have seen all year. Congrats to the Cooper duo of Lexi Held and Asyah Mitchell!

Shining Star Sports Class of 2015, 2016 and 2018 are heading to Raliegh North Carolina to begin their AAU season. They will be playing in the Deep South Classic starting Friday morning.

Glad to see Paige healthy again. She had a big second half of the season and carried the load for Notre Dame. Someone is going to get a heck of a point guard now that she is healthy and able to play at full speed again.

Leigh was a match up problem for St. Henry. St. Henry couldn't guard her with a big and she was to strong to guard with a guard. Nice game by the very talented sophomore.

Paige Kellam took over in the 3rd quarter and stretched the lead for Notre Dame. Paige and Elly Ogle sat for a good portion of the 2nd quarter with 2 fouls. The three seniors Kellam, Ogle and Clemons combines for 42 points. Nice night for the seniors.

I completely agree with you RCC9. Matchups during tournament time will go a long way in deciding who heads to WKU for the state tourney.

Paige Kellam has been putting up great numbers for Notre Dame. Her getting healthy has really provided a spark for their offense. When healthy Paige is one of the top point guards in the 9th region.

Congratulations to Nikki Kiernan. She is an amazing young lady!

In my opinion NCC has the best player in the region in Nikki Kiernan. But I think the one player that has been the most valuable player for them this year is Michaela Ware. She is a game changer with her ability to defend and create turnovers and with her ability to push the ball up the floor and get easy baskets for others.

Cooper also beat Boone County last year in regular season play.

Nice game by Macy Stuempel. She can fill it up when she gets going.

Ryle is playing very good basketball with 4 sophomores in the starting lineup. They are a very impressive young group.

Highlands finished the second quarter on a 18 to 2 run. Pretty even game in the second half.
