  1. Nice game for the Braves. Hunt and Carr were on fire!
  2. Actually the player was hurt on a play where there should have been a foul called. He was after a loose ball and was pushed from behind. Not saying that caused the injury but the longer the refs let the game go, the harder the kids will play. I am very surprised that more kids weren't hurt (from either side). Both teams were very scrappy, both teams fouled, the refs didn't seem to see any of it.
  3. Going to the Dr. today. Will probably schedule an MRI but I would say it is ligament damage. More then likely his senior year is over.
  4. An absolute horribly called game. The KHSAA should be ashamed of themselves for letting 3 officials of that caliber ever call any game, let alone a high school varsity game! Absolutely pathetic! I'm surprise that only one kid got hurt tonight. Completely out of hand!!!!!!!!
  5. You have to feel pretty good about this Braves team. Shipp, Hurley and Hunt were solid tonight. Carr had a bad shooting night and Grant only went to the line 6 times. I believe one ref didn't even blow his whistle against Oldham at all (not saying that's why they lost)......but a 5 point loss to a solid Oldham County team leads you to believe, they're not the lowly team many thought they would be.
  6. I'll say Gallatin by double digits. I'm not sure if Ryle can handle the defensive pressure that Gallatin will bring.
  7. Grant must have taken a nap at halftime and didn't wake up until the 4th qtr. They have looked very tired the whole tournament.
  8. That might be the most idiotic comment I've ever seen on here.
  9. My mistake, you are correct. 4 for Grant, 1 for SK
  10. #20 For SK fouled out. One of the more ridiculously called games I've seen called. Both sides fans were very upset....rightfully so I might ad.
  11. Walton should win this one but playing at Williamstown is always a dangerous proposition.
  12. At Grant friday night. Who wins this district matchup?
  13. Not a great shooting night for Grant at all. Hurley and Anglin played solid defense. Typical Grant/Williamstown matchup at Williamstown. Fun yet intense game to watch.
  14. GC is always tuff. How did Morgan do tonight?
  15. Who wins this cross-county shootout?
  16. Oh got ya... just wanted clarification.
  17. But then again, if you didn't assume that "A" schools are somehow weaker opponents, then the question of scheduling 19 of them would never be raised. Or in your words "The reality and perception of scheduling numerous class A schools sends off a few messages." How could a team get W's from scheduling "A" schools if they aren't presumed to be weaker? Just asking a question....
  18. You missed the point! I didn't say they would win anything! The thread is about them playing too many "A" schools. I was merely pointing out that because a school is a class "A" does NOT mean they are weak or a pushover! ex: Shelby Valley winning State! There is NOT a team mentioned in this thread that would have been able to beat that "A" school that year.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Shelby Valley (State Champ a few years back) an "A" school?
