The Final was 63-61 Grant.

Sounds like it was a classic. Anyone have anymore info on this one?

Grant shooting very cold from the field only 8-20 from the foul line. Soph. Tyler Carr hits old fashion 3 point play with about 8 seconds left to put Grant ahead 63-61.

E'h, we had 'em the whole time.

A really good ball game at Williamstown tonight. Two fairly even teams going at it.

Williamstown led for 90% of the game, but just couldn't finish it out. Good performance from McKinley and Simpson. I imagine McKinley had 20ish and Simpson was tough on the boards. For Grant, Carr had a nice second half and Hunt was active.

Williamstown should of had a tech to start the game for circling the other team in warmups.(I think that is still a violation, although not sure how they would enforce)

Williamstown played 1-2-2 drop zone nearly the entire night...except for the last possession, in which they switched to man-to-man. Carr able to take his guy to the hole, hit the shot and the free throw. Grant had struggled shooting from outside, but I'm guessing Williamstown switched so they'd be able to box out better. May have backfired.

McKinley played a great game and was clutch from the line. I would've liked to see him drive the lane on the last play, rather than to try to draw a foul outside the arc. The Simpson kid was also a force in the first half, but it seemed like the Demons forgot about him in the second half. And the times he did get the ball, the Coleman kid from Grant was right there. Surprised Williamstown didn't go back to Simpson after Coleman fouled out midway thru the 4th.

Also, Grant had a ton of chances to break open game from the line, but couldn't hit anything. (I think 8 of 20)

Not a great shooting night for Grant at all. Hurley and Anglin played solid defense. Typical Grant/Williamstown matchup at Williamstown. Fun yet intense game to watch.

I think this is a rule but how is it monitored when the officials usually are not out there at the start of warm ups?
