  1. Does Collins have a pass attack? I doubt it's as good as Reese Ryan so no, the Birds roll.
  2. The coaches blew this one for their Knights. They should know you can't run against the Birds and expect to win. If they would have come out guns blazin' and aired it out, this would have been a possible win for the Knights. Weinrich played soft on Ryan and he picked the Bluebirds apart but it was a little to late. If they play this one again, different outcome totally, IMO. Go Birds.
  3. If Collins can pass, they had better pass on every play.
  4. Birds simply cannot defend the pass. If LC would've figured it out earlier, different ballgame.
  5. I'm going to say it: The Birds are better than Bowling Green!
  6. No Ihigh, you either make the trip or you take your chances.
  7. If you haven't already guessed by now from the weakness of this thread, it's quite a hot potato. The issues ran deep between these two squads last season but I'm sure they've been handled for this week's game. Look for some tight lipped folks to open up during post game chatter especially if this game is another "homer". Until then, the whole topic's been shelved.
  8. All eyes will be on the referees and each call will be scrutinized. "Homerville" is an understatement. Birds must be on their best behavior.
  9. Last year's game left a lot of bad blood between these two squads.
  10. According to Letton, the Knights owe the Birds for the last two years. Lest we forget - LexCath 3:53.
  11. For the record, I never said Houliston had a "terrible" night. For the record, I never said Houliston had a "bad" night. Not sure why you're using such inflammatory rhetoric to spin my posts, but I think we all received the answer as to why the Birds had limited offensive output. It was b/c of the supposed additions to the Cov Cath defense. It was 7, right?
  12. I did see where Harris was complaining to the refs about #15 for apparently ripping off his helmet after one of the wildcat formations in the red zone.
  13. With all due respect to this statement, some of the Bluebirds were getting overtly out of control at times, but this may have been precipitated by some dirty Blueboys. I thought for sure they would flag Wrobleski for his gesture on the CCH sideline. I am glad they missed it.
