When you lose 18 seniors in a small school its going to be very tough to stay at that level off play. Not to mention a new coaching staff, they will have a decent record because of their district but not a top ten season.

I dont think you realize the plays Miles made out of nothing, no running back on your team will do what he did everyone knows that. Every team has a weak point and to think your team doesnt is foolish, we shall see when the season comes around. I just think SK will be good but not as good as last year, also as your saying they will be a "throwing" that is alot to ask of a new offensive line.

I believe they beat Dixie LIckerts first year. I do believe that the move to 4a was te best move for them. They will be much improved from past years even last year, I believe they should beat Dixie and play Withrow close again maybe even pull it out.

SK will have struggles just like any other team. They will struggle without Simpson not matter what anyone says Sage Powell isn't the monster Miles is. Also i dont see the line the o-line being as good as last years which you can make a case for the best in the state. They will have a good season but not the one they had last year. Also just because you play two teams from Ohio does not mean you are automatically going to beat a team on this side of the river. Each teams plays a different style of football, sometimes it's hard to play a team that will spread you out then the next week that wil line up in a power I and run the ball down your throat. My top ten 1. Highlands 2. Ryle 3. Simon Kenton I think 4-7 can be tossed up between Cov Cath, Holmes, NCC and Beechwood 8. Dixie 9. Boone 10. Campbell County After the two pre- season games if the teams have two will clarify the top ten more.

Maybe trying not to reveal himself to some people, who knows? I do know that they are good friends.

Pike does have offers and I believe Towles does not but that could have changed, I read in an article that Joker really likes Towles.

I believe they have the same scheduele since the contracts have not expired, I also agree with you on Cooper they are on the brink of pushing the top 10 I just wouldnt put them in it yet as you said yes Campbell County should be. As far as Cov Cath not finishing in the top 5 because the strength of schedule is rediculous, I just dont see them being healthy when it matters most. I havent had a chance to see Cov Cath play in the last year so im just speculating.

I think the poll is pretty solid for a pre-season poll, IMO Cooper shouldnt be on the list But this shows the work they have put in. IMO CovCath wont finish in the top five. Holmes may be a little high but I think they will live up to the ranking.

Well they beat Cincy St. X so when you can scheduele them then you dont need to play Louis T or Louis St. X. Heres a question would you rather play a GCL South team that is known across the country or a team that you half to travel two hours to play? IMO ill take Cincy St. X anyday or to put a team they have on the scheduele this year Winton Woods on there.

Congrats to Rod Snapp, I do not know much about him but he was an Asst. Coach at Dixie for four years.

Billy Menkaus will challenge yes, only because you do not want anyone on your team to become complacent. When that happens they dont perform you need someone pushing you thats it.

I was just getting ready to start this thread, Congrats to the young man. Miami Oh just offered Ryle qb Conner Hempel today. Maybe they see the talent in Nky like all the other schools!

I think they might have a slight edge especially since La Salles qb Drew Kummer just commited to Miami (Oh).

Holmes had a very good season last year ending in the playoffs to Lexington Catholic. I believe they noticed that they need more depth and to work harder in the weight room, they got pushed around against LC. The biggest questions for this team is the O and D line if they can patch those up then they will be going to Lexington or Boyle week two of the playoffs next year!!

Graduation hurt the Indians this year and have alot of key players to replace, I look for the Indians to be down but still have a shot at the two seed in there district.

I read today on Ryan Ernst blog that Conner Hempel was offered by Miami U (OH), he is now up to three offers with Western Kentucky and Bowling Green the others.

Congrats Chad, Should be interesting to see how many new kids come out for baseball since Chad might be the most liked teacher in the high school.

I agree and he's an all around athlete he punted, kicked field goals and kicked off.

All three quaterbacks played very well. You could see that Dixies qb and the CovCath qb had been in a offense that allowed them to air it out, but Richard Wills came in and did a nice job threw some nice balls and got bailed out on a couple. All three played fairly well and managed the game.
