Maybe. It seems like this growing threat that was built up since the beginning of the show ended underwhelmingly. And outside of that plot line, Bran’s character holds little significance.

You might be on to something. There was definitely something more to take away from that scene than just Arya warming up to a horse. Maybe the white horse is symbolic of her being a real hero; countering Dany’s black dragon.

There are so many loose ends that need to be tied up next week. I refuse to believe Bran’s character is finished. I refuse to believe that the white walkers are completely vanquished either.

I felt like the night king needed to wreak havoc on Westeros to feel closure with that story line. I feel like they sold it short. I wonder what Bran does from here on? If there wasn’t more to his story, it would have been easy for the night king to kill him before Arya got him.

Here I was thinking I couldn’t hate Virginia any more. I was wrong.

I’ve found a total of four sheds and a tiny dead head spike this year. I’m actually headed to the woods today to scout a new area. Maybe I’ll get lucky. I’ve found tons of bones, and each time, I’ve thought they were going to be horns. Bummer.

He’s a donut on our Joe bag of donuts team. I feel like there’s enough sparks on our team to beat anybody, but we’re so inconsistent that I think we could lose to anyone in the tournament.

I’m still liking the single pin a whole bunch. I’ll admit, I’ve got anxiety over adjusting on the fly in a hunting situation though. I’m not so much worried about being picked off by a Deer or anything, just mostly one more thing the occupy my mind when shots usually happen fast.

I mounted the sheds and my wife actually OKed them being used as decor!

I’ve shot NAP slingblades for the past couple years. I like them a lot because I don’t have to worry about o-rings or collars, and I’ve had a clean pass through on all of the deer I’ve killed. I’m considering an “upgrade” to my broadheads, possibly something with either 3 blades or bleeder blades for a more devastating wound channel. I’m not opposed to a fixed head, I’m just worried about arrow flight. What have you all been successful with?

Well, that went a lot better than I was expecting honestly. I wish we didn’t have to end the regular season with Virginia, but oh well. We’ve exceeded expectations in a big way this year. From here on I’m going to watch us like we’re playing with house money.

I found a really nice matching set Saturday. They were right at a fence crossing. I put them in a mount and came out to 126 inches. I also found a dead head spike and a nice sized antler on a south facing slope. I can’t wait to get back out there.

Just what this team needed. I was glad VJ made some good plays today.

Mashed potatoes. Other mashed potatoes are fine, but they aren’t just right like my moms. My mother in law makes the best spaghetti and meat sauce that I’ve had. Really it’s not close.
