I agree totally about ND. I also think NCC will move way up in the rankings soon. They should be in the 4 or 5 spot right now IMO.

Carson scored 30 points and brought down 11 rebounds had 4 steals and 3 assists to lead Owen County to a 88-63 win over Trimble County. Congrats Carson!!

Madi led her Conner team to a win over Louisville Holy Cross with 29 Points 13 rebounds. Congrats to Madi and good luck the rest of the season!!!

I've seen NCC a couple of times this year and I just don't see any weaknesses in this team. They have speed / great ball handling /great outside shooting / tremendous pressing team / dominate inside play/ they can't be pressed and they are very deep. If they stay focused I think they will be making some real noise not only in the All A but in the Sweet Sixteen. I would not want to play this team come tournament time.

I was not at the game but did hear Freshman Kaylee Clifford lit up the arc with 6 threes. Glad to see her playing well Great Kid!!

I hear what your saying. I should of been a little more specific about what I was thinking as far as getting up and down the court. With the athletes they have I would expect them to press teams consistently this year and use their speed to turn defense into offense. Conversley I think they will be hard to press because of their guards and while a lot of teams may try I think most will quickly start dropping back into half court defense which benefits Kiernan. The side effect benefit for Kiernan is that she doesn't have to play as much half court defense as she did last year which would leave her in good shape on the offensive end. I think their are some fair questions about their outside shooting based on last year but I think their are going to be some people surprised about how that aspect of their offense will improve this year. Just my thoughts but I think they have to much speed to sit back and play half court defense this year.

I forgot some icing on the cake. Mayes should be a major factor for NCC this year!!!

I look for NCC to have a Great Year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them play a little more up tempo than the last year. With Ware at point and the emergence of Ansley Davenport over the summer I think they have one of the best guard tandems in NKY. Kiernan should dominate this year. Add Lewis Siebert and Zimmeraman to the mix and NCC is a very solid team.

I agree. To plan one of these events you need to get the college coaches confirmed first and publish that list before you ask parents for 150.00 fee. I hope this event gets some scouting attention in the future.
